OK. I haven't updated anything for about two weeks now, sorry about that. I was taking a break to try and make sure that when I came back to write more chapters, that I wasn't burned out on writing. But now I feel that I'm ready to write again.

So this is going to be the final part to my SAO fanfic. I know a lot of you have enjoyed it immensely, so this is for all of you guys, a new era of trouble, a new enemy, and romance and lemons thrown in to spice it up, along with some drama, kidnappings, and more. Hope you've got yourself a snack because you won't want to move until you've finished the last word of every chapter. So here we go with... Part 3! Invasion!

Kirito's POV:

Kirito was sitting on the front porch of his house with Asuna, enjoying the sun shining down on them. Asuna was peacefully napping in the chair next to his, her hand clutching his, even in sleep. Kirito smiled and stroked her hand gently with his thumb.

"It's just been so long." He thought to himself. It had been thirteen years since the 'Blood Oath Rebellion' that had decimated the town of New Beginnings; thirteen years, and those years had been crazy. Floors 76 through 90 had been beaten slowly but surely by the top players, all looking for a new challenge to occupy their time. Towns decimated in the rebellion rebuilt themselves, and filled up as the first generation of children reached the cusp of adulthood.

"Speaking of which." Kirito thought to himself. He turned his head and called into the house through a nearby window. "Akari... if you don't want to be late to the trials then you'd better hurry."

"Coming." Came a response. Moments later, a beautiful girl of sixteen stepped out the door. Kirito looked at his now almost fully grown daughter. "Alright Akari, good luck, remember what I've taught you, and have fun. I'll see you tonight to hear all about it."

Akari nodded, her long brown hair waving in the wind that had just picked up. Don't worry dad, you've taught me everything I know, and I know I will do just fine. "

"OK. Hurry along so you can pick up your weapon on the way."

"Yes yes. Bye!" Akari gave Kirito a hug and waved as she started off down the road to town.

"Goodbye my little rain of sunshine." Kirito said to himself. He settled back down into the chair he had been sitting in. "I know you will do well."

Akari's POV:

"Damn it! I'm gonna be late! Can't be late, not today of all days."

Akari shouted as she ran through the streets of New Beginnings. She had lost track of time on the road and was now rushing desperately to try and not be late. In the distance she spotted hr destination. There it was, the Trial Grounds; an arena that was a survival school for kids from all over Aincrad to come to and learn how to stay alive in this dangerous world.

"Come on, come on." Akari said. She pushed out an extra burst of speed and managed to slip into the building just as the gates began to close. "Pfoo! Almost didn't make it." Akari thought to herself. After calming her breathing, she looked up and beheld the courtyard that lay before her.

Children her age were everywhere, talking in small groups with their friends and not really paying attention to much else. Akari looked around until she spotted two familiar faces, a boy and a girl standing facing each other talking.

"Hey guys." Akari said.

"Akari, glad you made it." the girl said. She grinned mischievously. "So... how close were you to being late this time?"

Akari blushed. "Too close."

The girl laughed. "That's our Akari. The daughter of the famous black swordsman and the lightning flash, only just slipping through the door before being tardy."
