CLARY POV
I gasp in pain as my eyes fly open. All I see is black and small glistening lights, stars. I feel pain on my left abdomen, the pain was irritatingly painful. I sit up painfully and look down only to see a glass shard sticking from the left part of my stomach. The pain seemed to intensify as I sat here. An ocean of memories crash into me as I remember what happened. I look around desperately for Katy. I then see her behind me, lying on the pavement next to a cherry red fire hydrant. She had a small cut on her forehead, but her eyes were rolled back. I stand up and limp towards her. "Katy wake up! Katy please wake up!" I say as I nudge her, the glass was still on my abdomen. I felt excruciating pain on the area where the glass shard was embedded. I grab it and pull it out with a cry. I grab my shirt and roll it up and press roughly on my wound, whimpering and grunting as I did. "Katy!" I say desperately. I feel my eyes water. "Please Katy!" I beg her, shaking her hoping she'll wake up. "Please," I beg as tears stream down my cheeks. "Help! Please! Someone please call 911!" I beg in tears.

I wake up to the beeping of my alarm clock.I look up and see the small pink box that kept beeping continuously. I slam my fist on the button to shut my alarm off. Another nightmare? I thought those were gone! I get up and look at my room. I had a window next to me and my nightstand behind me. My queen bed with its green and pink comforter was next to me. The head and door was white and elegant, I had a pink fluffy rug in the middle of my room with a white chandelier hanging above it. I sigh as I go to my closet and start picking out clothes.

AMBER POV
I wake up to my alarm, I get up and look at my small room, my bed had an old Snow White blanket. I sigh as I stand up and go to the closet filled with Disney stickers. I open it and put on my old white t-shirt with dirty jeans . I sigh as I walk to the bathroom and put my brown hair in a ponytail and start going downstairs.

CLARY POV
I looked at myself in the mirror, I had a big pink coat with a black skirt and a white black polka dotted blouse

I walk downstairs and see my mom making breakfast. "Good morning Clary,"
"Good morning mom," I say with a smile.
"Did you sleep well?"
"Yeah, I guess," I say clearly lying.
"Good," My mom smiles. "What would you like for breakfast?"
"Oh, I'm fine, i Can just pick something up for breakfast at school," I say with a fake smile, "a hot chocolate would be good though,"
"Coming right up," my mom says and starts making my hot chocolate.

AMBER POV
I ran down the steps, I had a hoodie on with old jeans. "You're going to be late for school....again!" My mom says, she was sitting on the couch, staring at me angrily.
"I...I'm really s-sorry mom," i mumble.
"Well It's not my problem, you're the one who's not getting the education," My mom says.
"Mom, I'm really sorry, I'll try harder tomorrow, i promise," I beg.
Good," My mom says. She gets up and grabs a cereal bowl. She walks up to me and gives it to me. They were cheerio's the ones that taste like cardboard. "Here's your breakfast....I'm sorry it can't be more," she says. I sigh and start eating it. Well...it's this or nothing,

CLARY POV
"So you're sure you slept alright?" My mom asks, she was sitting across from me with a cup of coffee. I sip my hot chocolate. "No nightmares?"
"The nightmares have stopped mom," I lie. I drink the rest of my chocolate and get up. "I should leave, I'll be late if I don't," I say.
"Have a great day Clare!" My mom says.

"I mean, seriously! Who would wear shorts to prom? Not even me you know?!" Maia says.
"Clary!" I look behind me and see my boyfriend.
