JOCELYN POV
I Fall to the floor in pain. Amber balls up my red hair and presses my face roughly against the kitchen tile. How did I not notice?! How?! "You're going where you belong," she growls. My abdomen was burning, shooting pain burning my abdomen. She grabs my arm roughly and shoved me down into the basement. I fall down the stairs, rolling down them. I grab my stomach as I look up at Amber.
"Please don't..." i beg as the door slams shut.

CLARY POV
"Wow...you know a lot about switching," I tell Olivia.
"You could say that....I've been researching and testing for the past ten years, most people that I've met have discovered it as a child, that's how I discovered it...and I'm guessing you did too?" Olivia asks.
"Yeah, like i said, i-uh... i switched with my sister and....there were consequences..." I say.
"In the past, switching was considered witchcraft, and if you practiced it, you were at risk of being burned at the steak,"
"Wow..." i say as I flip my hair backwards.
"Harsh right? Anyways, after hearing your situation, I'm guessing that you're stuck because, you've switched for longer than a day," Olivia says. "When that happens you can't switch back without the other persons commitment,"
"What do you mean by committed?" I ask.
"Mentally committed as in, your mental state is focused onto getting to your original body" Olivia says. "The only other way I know of switching back with someone...if they are not willing to, is....." Olivia trails off
"Is what?" I ask.
"Is to kill them."

JACE POV
I was listening to music as I feel my phone vibrate. I take off my headphones and grab my phone. "Hello?" I ask, Hoping it was Clary.
"Hey man, I've tried calling you like 100 times...where are you?" Alec says.
"Dude! Go away!" I say grumpily.
"Aw, what happened? Did your gunge loser girlfriend break up with you?" Alec asks.
"Asshole," i say with an eye roll. We weren't even together, yet I do feel like I was dumped. I hang up on Alec and put my phone on the My nightstand. Then it starts ringing again. I sigh, rolling my eyes. Can't he take a hint?! I pick up angrily "Alec, take a hint and just piss off!" I say angrily.

Jace?

Shit! "Clary?!" I ask, I let my cheeks go red since no one's in the room with me. " oh, man i'm sorry, i thought you were-,"

Never mind, um...remember Olivia White?

"The name rings a bell," I say.

She can switch bodies, remember? We found her when we were....'

"Together?" I ask completing her sentence.

...Friends...She told me how we....i... can switch back with Amber,

"Oh, ok, um, I'll be there....are we still in a-,"

I smile as I hang up. At least she's admitting to having some kind of relationship. I knock on the door. Instead of Clary opening the door, i see a brunette with blue eyes.
