Horses, much like humans, are born in different situations. Some are born in the midst of a huge, wild herd, surrounded by friends and family who love them from the second they are born. Some are born inside a barn, coming into the world and growing attached to the humans who take care of them, just to be sold to cruel human after cruel human, never to see the ones they love again. So many horses are born in the wild, and so many are born behind fences. Many humans have been able to capture horses from the wide-open lands they live in, and have successfully tamed them to be calm and gentle. But is it that easy for a horse, born to love and be cared for by humans, to adjust to the wild?
