"do you still love her?" yoongi asked hoseok who was seated across from him.

"yeah, of course." hoseok replied, burying his head so deep in his palms.

"then what's the problem?" yoongi set his mug down.

"the problem is that she cheated on me." hoseok whisper shouted since the café was crowded.

"are you sure? she said she didn't remember anything." yoongi looked at hoseok, his dear friend was going through such a crisis in his life. yoongi remembered long ago when they were in college and hoseok would only speak about lana. every conversation the two boys had, it was always about lana. and that's when yoongi knew how much hoseok was in love with her.

he would hate for them to break up over something that could possibly not even be true.

"what are you trying to say?" hoseok looked up, meeting his eyes.

"i'm saying that you should definitely not go to namjoon because if he knows you're stressing about this he'll give you all the more reason to do so. just get past this. leave it alone. you two are made for each other, even a blind person could tell how deeply you love her. years later, you'd look back at this situation and laugh and call me a genius for not letting you dwell on the issue further." yoongi said.

"thank you, yoongi." hoseok said sincerely. his gratitude came from his heart. lana and hoseok always used to have petty arguments, none this big though. and every time hoseok would go to yoongi for advice, he'd give it. yoongi would give the best advice that hoseok would go running back to lana or the other way around. the two love each other and there's no helping it.

"now i gotta get back. jennie's alone with the baby and she must be tired. text me later, alright." yoongi quickly said before rushing out of the café.

over time hoseok grew envious of his best friend. yoongi and jennie's relationship has been going so well, they even had a baby. hoseok wanted a baby more than anything with lana. he wanted to leave behind a little piece of him because soon hoseok would leave this world.
