"ugh, hoseok. these dishes aren't going to magically clean themselves, are they?" lana scolded. hoseok simply shrugged, his frame leaned back and his legs propped up on the coffee table as he continued to stay immersed in the show that was playing on the television. "are you even listening to me?" she asked but to her dismay she received no answer.

she mentally groaned, feeling so sick of tidying up after his mess, all the time.

realising the time, in the single cupboard she got out a bunch of equipment and secretly took them upstairs to her room. she scattered handfuls of rose petals all around the floor. lana also picked up a bouquet of roses, since those were his favourite, and put them on the bed. the room was already clean, the only adjustment she needed to make was the extra decorations.

she carefully lighted vanilla scented candles and placed them around the whole room. lana wasn't one for these type of things but after all the arguments and disagreements, she felt the need to prove to hoseok that she still loves him and wants to be with him. figuring that he'd be suspecting something, she quickly finished off the touches. wanting to dress nice, she looked through her closet and picked out a nice dress to fit the red theme. it was a shimmering blood red dress that hugged her curves perfectly. it was skin tight and reached just above her knees.

she styled her hair in a way she knew hoseok would like. he always preferred it when her hair was flowing down her back, all wavy and beautiful. she applied a little bit of makeup to really make her appear gorgeous and then lastly she put on a vibrant red lipstick. she looked at her reflection in the mirror, feeling good about herself.

"hoseok!" she screamed with the door still closed. he replied back with a 'what?' "come here for a second." she said.

"alright, i'm coming."

he skipped up the stairs. he slowly opened the door to reveal a beautifully decorated room with a beautiful girl in the middle.

"lana." he managed to breathe out.

"i just want you to know, hoseok, that i love you so much. it's kinda embarrassing how much i think of you on a daily. you make me so happy and i know we've been going through a rough patch lately regarding our relationship but we're gonna get through this. i want to go back to the days where you made me giggle like a little school girl with them remarks you always used to make." she laughed at the memory. "i love you hoseok, i really, really do." she grabbed the bouquet of roses and held it on her hand. "would you accept this?"

"oh, lana." he threw the roses onto the bed and took the real flower. he pulled her in for a warm embrace, hugging her ever so tightly as if she'd disappear into thin air or crumble like dust. "i love you too, baby. i love you." he whispered against her neck, sending shivers down her spine.
