Chapter 44

I was currently in my room admiring my ring. I held it to the ceiling as I sighed in content. He wanted to marry me. I was in the middle of packing for college since we were set to leave in a month. It was early but I wanted to make sure I kept everything that I wanted to take packed already. 

"Hey honey." I answered Harry's facetime call. 

"Hey baby. What are you up to?" He was driving, presumably from dropping his mom off at the airport. She and Robin were flying to London to celebrate their wedding anniversary. 

"I'm actually going to go do some shopping in a little. Wedding shopping. What about you? Want to come?" I wiggled my eyebrows and he laughed. We had planned our wedding to be a week before we left which was another reason I was packing early. 

"I would love to go shopping with you and show you off but the boys are taking me on a pre-bachelor, bachelor party. I think we're just going to hang out at Louis place." He shrugged and I nodded with a smile. I loved their girlfriends so much. 

"Say hi to them for me." 

"I will. God baby I fucking hate how beautiful you are without trying." Harry growled as he looked at me through the screen, resulting in me blushing. 

"Stop. I gotta go, the girls are here." I looked out the window to see Perrie, Eleanor, Sophia, Amber and Vanessa here. 

"Alright, have fun babe. I can't wait to see you in your dress." He smirked and I hung up after a few more words. 

"Hey girls." I hummed as I got into the suv Eleanor insisted on driving us in. "Hey Mrs. Future-Styles." Sophia teased and I smirked. 

"Not if I become a Smith first." I winked and she bursted into giggles. I loved these girls so much that it physically hurt, especially because I misses Vanessa and Amber. 

"Have you thought of any dress ideas? Colors?" Perrie asked and I pursed my lips, shaking my head. 

"Nope. I was leaning towards a navy blue, lighter blue and white. Simple. Easy." 

"If it makes you happy then we all support what hideous dress you pick out for us." Vanessa laughed and Amber nodded. 

"Relax." I laughed and shook my head. 

"Hey honey." I hummed as I answered Harry's facetime call a few hours later. I was eating a salad and he narrowed his eyes. 

"Please tell me your camera is fucking up and you're not eating a salad." 

"I literally just ate an entire burger. Chill." 

"Better or I'll go down there and kick your ass." He joked and I was congratulated by the boys. It looked like they were going to have a soccer night by the way they were all dressed in their jerseys. 

"Alright babe, I'll see you later on tonight. I love you."

"I love you too." God, I wish I would've asked him to say it again.

I was at home now, finishing my packing and sorting. 

"Hey honey, how did today go?" My mom asked, she came in my room with scrubs on suggesting she was going to go to work or she was just arriving. 

"It went well. I didn't find a dress I loved but did get some inspo over what was the needed. On the bright side I think I did pick out the bridesmaid dresses they said we could go back tomorrow and they'll have things with my color scheme going on. So we're doing that. Harry and the guys had their tuxes picked out but he won't let me see it." I hummed and she grinned. 

"You're growing up so fast. You're going to college. You're getting married. You're so lucky. I see the way he looks at you, it's the way every girl dreams of being looked at." 

"I know, I see it. I feel it. I mean, damn mom, literally I cannot live without him. My heart will stop and that goes for him too. I don't even know how I got so lucky." 

"I'm jealous." She laughed and I smiled. 

"I see the way Richardo looks at you. It's the way that Harry looks at me." 

"Doubt it. He's a dork." 

"But he's your dork. You love him." 

"It's scary. Last man I loved hurt my daughter and this family." Dad. I hated dad for breaking mom. 

"I know. I think you're safe loving this one. He would've dumped you in med school if he didn't love you. Here you are an entire what? 16 years later?" "Yeah." She laughed sheepishly and helped me sort through the things I bought today. 

"So. I gotta head to work so you'll be home alone. Don't open the door to strangers. I love you." "I love you too mom." I smiled and hugged her, kissing her cheek. 

I took a quick shower, sitting in bed with a pair of tights and one of Harry's jackets over my tank top. I was going to sleep when I felt a cloth wrap around my mouth and darkness begin to over take my body
