Friday came around alot faster than I anticipated. I barely had time to do any of my homework as I sat in my Stats class, shaking my leg furiously. I was taking a test that I didn't study for and probably bombed entirely.
"Ms. Ibarra." My professor, Mr. Anderson, smiled softly as I turned in my test. I was nervous since I had stayed after school to take it because of being in the hospital earlier this week.
"I'm really sorry I took so long and so much of your time." I reasoned and he shook his head.
"No problem for my brightest student." He was a nice man but gave me the creeps.
"Again, I'm really sorry." I went back to grab my things.
"Any plans for this weekend?" He tried to make small talk and I busted into a grin as I thought. "Yeah I'm going to my family's lake house. I love it there. I love nature in general." I also very much so loved Harry Styles.
"Oh that sounds lovely. By yourself, a boy, or with your family?" His voice spat bitterly when it landed on a boy.
"It's going to be by myself. I need some time to focus." I lied and he nodded, seemingly calmed down as I slid on my bag.
"I gotta go. My brother is waiting for me outside." I wasn't lying. Josh was waiting for me.
"I'm really sorry to hear what happened to you. Let me walk you out, it would make me feel alot better." I immediately felt uncomfortable as I nodded to him.
"So, do you often go places alone? You should know how dangerous it is for a beautiful young woman such as yourself to be alone." Mr. Anderson smiled at me but I just kept my distance, frightened.
"No, I usually have my boyfriend or my brother who is not coming." We were at the front of the school. "Boyfriend? I was under the impression from the countless hearts you broke you are not allowed to date." He frowned and I bit my lip, looking around. Josh wasn't here but I saw a familiar car that belonged to Martin.
"I wasn't but it changed when my boyfriend had the guts to stand up to my family. I gotta go, thank you Mr. Anderson."
"I thought he wasn't coming?"
"No, he isn't. Martin's here to pick me up." I practically sprinted over to Martin who caught me in his arms. "Hey babygirl. You ready for this weekend at the lake?" He wiggled his eyebrows and I giggled.
"Yes! I hope he's ready." I looked at the time. 4:30. "We gotta get you home and ready to party." He waved to Mr. Anderson who looked disturbed.
"Excuse me, you cannot go home with him unless he's on the emergency contact list." He snapped and Martin laughed in his face.
"I am on it. I'm her brother in law. Martin Castillo. Check me and shoot me a text." He snapped and I waved awkwardly to my stats teacher as I got in his car.
"God, he's creepy. Did he touch you inappropriately?"
"No. He gave me the creeps too."
"Awkward. I'd like for you to avoid him at all costs."
"I'll try. He seems creepy." I shivered in disgust as he drove me to my house to get ready. I was wearing a pair of shorts with Harry's shirt over and my white vans. I packed a few dozen outfits knowing I was too much of a messy person to just pack 3.
"Hey darling, ready?" Harry asked and I nodded.
"That's alot of clothes. Did I miss the secret message of us running away?" "I get really messy and don't trust myself to just pack 3 pairs of clothes. I have some of yours in here too." I smiled, pressing a kiss to his head as we both said bye to our families as we drove the two hours to the lake house, well he drove. I sat and ate food that we stopped to buy.
"I made sure Martin and Mari stocked the house with food. They live closer to there, it's like an hour from them." I said and he nodded, pulling off the freeway to the familiar woods. God I loved it out here.
"You love it that much out here?"
"Yes. It's beautiful, baby. We are going to have so much fun I promise." I held his hand with both of mine. Twenty minutes later we arrived to the house. It was more of a cabin but lake house sounds better than cabin on the lake.
"It's cute." Harry laughed as he turned off his car and I got out, helping him move our stuff inside.
When you first walk into the house it was the living room and kitchen area. Open concept downstairs that still felt cozy and like home. The stairs were in the far part of the house that took us to the second story that had 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The third floor was just a separate room that I usually take for the privacy and the view.
"I think we should stay down here." I pointed to the master bedroom that was beside the staircase.
"And if I say no?" He challenged and I smiled. "I say third floor. So much scenery up there." I kissed his lips and he smiled.
"We'll sleep everywhere." God, Harry. Choose your words wisely please.
"I think before we do that you need to open your present for today." I said, pulling the duffle bag onto the couch and unzipped it.
"You realize that when your birthday comes around this year I will spoil you rotten." He hummed as he opened the gift, gasping. He loved photography so I bought him a camera. The best one money could buy right now. Since he was going to be a man in a couple days I wanted him to be spoiled as of right now so I went ahead and bought him the 12 pack of lenses.
"You didn't. Baby this is really really expensive." He spoke with his eyes wide.
"Yeah but I really wanted to spoil you. You're my baby. You're my king. My apex. My everything. So I spent a little money? So what. It's the fact that it makes this." I pointed to his heart as I pressed a kiss to his lips. "Is content. That's all I want or care about." I hummed and he kissed me, dropping the camera onto the couch.
"God I love you."
"I love you too." I hummed as I lead him into the room and we broke into another makeout session.
