I sat in Jungkook's office after my shift was over. We had left the gym early, but only after we practiced some more. After eating dinner in Jimin's office by myself, I went to work. My mind kept wandering to what Jungkook said about the prophecy. I can't possibly kill Christian. He's a thousand times better than me, and if there are more skilled assassins out there, then I have no doubt that I would be dead before I even see them coming. I still have a long way to go before I become even half as skilled as Christian.

I looked at the clock hanging on the wall above the doorway. It's already almost two in the morning. The café closed at one, but I stayed to help clean up. I was supposed to meet Jungkook and Jimin in here, but a brawl in the nightclub pulled Jungkook out of the office.

I kept asking Jungkook if he knew anything more about the prophecy, but he said that he didn't know anything else. I wondered if it was even worth it, hearing the prophecy. Now I will be reminded of it every time I see or think about Christian. Will I really be able to kill him? As moody as he is, he would have to make me really angry for me to even consider killing him. The prophecy may have been right so far, but I still have my doubts about the future prophecies. How could I ever become the Top Assassin?

My thoughts were interrupted when the door opened. I looked over to see that it was Jimin. He gave me a soft smile as he walked over to me.

"Hey, how was your day?" he asked as he sat on the couch next to me.

I sighed and shrugged, looking down at the coffee table absentmindedly.

"I don't know. I'm happy that I'm making progress, but I just learned something today that I'll never forget."

Jimin shifted on the couch next to me. He placed his hand on my thigh softly and his soft voice spoke again. "What did you learn?"

I looked back up at Jimin, but I hesitated. Is it OK to say something? I figured that he already knows, so there shouldn't be any harm in telling him.

"Jungkook told me about the prophecy."

I could barely hear my own voice, so I was unsure if Jimin even heard me.

"Ah." Realization dawned on his face after a moment. I heard him whisper. "So you know what is predicted to happen?"

I nodded.

"What do you think? Do you believe it?" I asked.

Jimin thought about it for a moment before he responded.

"So far, everything that has been predicted has come true, but it doesn't mean that everything will come true. Everyone still has their doubts."

I nodded again before I saw another figure walk through the open office door. It was Jungkook. He looked a little ruffled, and his lip looked swollen and bloody. He looked angry, but no more than he usually looked whenever he saw me. Now I understood why he hated me so much. If the prophecy comes true, I will kill his mentor.

"We're leaving." He said in a stern voice. "Taehyung will be here in five."

The car ride was quiet, and when we arrived at the house, Taehyung approached me while the other two walked off to their rooms.

"Come to my room after your shower. I'll wait." He said with a smile before he walked off after the others.

I went downstairs and walked into my closet. I picked out a clean pair of underwear and an oversized t-shirt. Nothing ever happened the other times I slept with Taehyung, so I wasn't expecting anything tonight, either.

I walked out of the closet only to be greeted by a large figure blocking my way to the bathroom. I let out a gasp in surprise, but when I finally realized who it was, I just stared in surprise.

"Christian?" I whispered.

Chrisitan smirked at me. "We'll have to work on your senses a little more."

He wore a pair of tight yet stretchy-looking black pants, and a tight black long-sleeved turtleneck shirt that had a hood on the back of it. He wore what looked like black socks on his feet, and his hands were covered with black gloves. He held a small black piece of fabric in his hand. My guess was that it was his mask.

"You look like a ninja." I said quietly. His tight clothes showed how muscular he is, too. The fabric hugged his strong, muscular body but he also looked agile in those clothes, too. "Are you here to assassinate me before I can kill you?"

Christian gave another little smile and shook his head slightly. "So, you know."

I nodded. "Yeah, but I'm having a hard time believing that I can kill you."

Christian took a few steps toward me until he stood right in front of me. "Don't underestimate yourself. You're only a beginner. Not many beginners can pass the test I gave you. If you work hard and prove yourself, then you'll be on my level in no time. And who knows? Maybe you will surpass me and become the Top Assassin."

"I feel like this is a reality show. Top Assassin." I said. "But I don't like the predicted end result. I don't want to kill you."

Christian looked down at me, his face soft for the first time. "You don't have to want to kill me. You don't have to know that it's me that you're killing."

"So, you believe the prophecy? Then tell me how I can kill you without knowing that it's you." I demanded.

Christian smirked again and then pulled on the mask that he held in his hands. He pulled up his hood until the only part of him that I could see was his eyes. "Like this."

"I can still see your eyes." I said in a flat tone, unimpressed by his disguise.

"That's because if this was a real job, you wouldn't be able to see, hear, or smell me. I'm only here to see you."

I looked at him, confused. "Why do you want to see me?"

Christian nodded toward the closet. "They make you sleep in there?"

I shrugged. "Unless they want me to sleep with them."

"So, you're like a pet to them."

I thought about it. They've been nicer to me lately, but they still treat me like I'm a servant or a pet. I just stayed silent.

"The price to pay for your father's debt."

I just gave him a small nod.

"You'll get out of debt sooner than you think, Akio. I'll make sure of it. Just make sure that you're ready for the work." He turned and began to walk silently toward the stairs, but he stopped and looked back at me. "I expect you in the training room at twelve-thirty every day warmed up and mentally prepared unless I say otherwise. I want you to start taking higher-risk jobs as soon as you can."

I gave him another nod before he quickly, yet quietly, disappeared up the stairs.

After he left, I quickly showered and walked up to Taehyung's room. I knocked on the door. After a moment of silence, I heard Taehyung's deep voice. "Come in."

I opened the door to see Taehyung lying on the bed shirtless and wearing just a towel around his waist. His hair was damp, making him look incredibly sexy. It looks like he also took a shower. I closed the door behind me, but before I could walk over to the bed, I heard Taehyung's deep, sexy voice again.

"Lock it."
