Eggman

Chapter 12: Eggman
(A.K.A. The Plight of the Mad Scientist)
The group ran outside to see Eggman with an army of Egg Pawns.
"Eggman, what are you up to now?" Sonic asked, scowling.
"Just coming to see my favorite hedgehog couple." Eggman grinned.

"How nice of you, Eggy."
"But of course, rodent. Now, Egg Pawns, ATTACK!" Eggman yelled.
The Egg Pawns charged at the heroes.
"You wanna rumble, then let's rumble!"

Sonic and the group charged at the oncoming robots.
Sonic and Shadow did homing attacks, Amy used her hammer, Blaze used her fire abilities, and even Cream used her spindash. Tails, Knuckles, and Rouge showed up and began helping. After a few minutes, the Egg Pawns were slowly decreasing in numbers.
"Is that all you got, Egg Belly?" Sonic smirked.
"Oh no, foolish hedgehog! The Egg Pawns for just a distraction for what I really came for." Eggman replied.
"Ahh!"
Everyone except Eggman turned around to see Metal Sonic grabbing and flying away with Amy.
"Amy!" Everyone except Eggman yelled.
"Someone help me!" Amy cried.
Sonic attempted to attack Metal Sonic, but was countered by a laser shot out of Eggman's Egg Mobile, which sent him flying back to the ground with a hard thud.
"N-no, bring her back!" Sonic groaned, holding his stomach and attempting to run after Eggman, but fell.
"Sonic, stop! Eggman, I'll go with you, just leave Sonic alone!" Amy pleaded.
"Ok, fine. Ruin my fun, won't you! Metal Sonic, let's go!" Eggman commanded.
Metal Sonic nodded as he and Eggman flew away.
"I can't let them escape." Sonic mumbled as he tried to run, but tripped.
"Sonic, stop! They're gone and you're hurt." Tails said, walking up to Sonic.
"But, A-Amy..."
"Can handle herself. She's tough and will be fine, Sonic." Blaze responded.
"Blaze is right. Let's rest up, and then we'll storm Eggman's Base and save Amy. Agreed?" Tails held his hand out to Sonic.
"You got it, little bro." Sonic smiled, as he got up, grunting. "Guys, I'll be back in an hour."
"Why?" Knuckles asked.
"I'm going to take a nap."
Sonic zoomed inside Amy's house.
"Oh, brother." Shadow face palmed.
