Chapter 6: The Date

Amy's house
Rouge was waiting outside the door when the guys arrived. Sonic was wearing the same collared blue shirt as before, only now he had his Extreme Gear glasses he picked up from home.
"Took you long enough." Rouge joked.
"Well, I had to get these." Sonic pointed to his glasses. "Is Amy in there?"
"Yep. She's waiting for you, and I think you're going to like her outfit." Rouge winked.
"I think I will as well." Sonic answered as he went inside.
"This almost feels like we're sending them to prom." Rouge said as she walked over to Knuckles and held his hand.
Inside
Sonic walked in, nervous as ever.
"Amy, you in here?" He called out.
"Yeah, I'll be down in a sec." Amy yelled from upstairs. She was most likely putting on makeup.
Sonic began to pace around the living room, getting more nervous. He wanted to run away, but he was already in too deep. He couldn't just walk out on Amy now as he did so many times in the past.
"Ok, I'm here, Sonic." Amy walked down her stairs.
Sonic froze at the sight of Amy. She was wearing a dark purple halter top, a blue skirt, black heels, and some makeup. He about fell out.
"Amy, you look amazing!" Sonic exclaimed.
"So do you." Amy responded.
Sonic took Amy's hand in his.
"Shall we?"
Amy kissed Sonic's cheek.
"We shall."
Amy smiled as the two joined each other and walked out.
Rouge, Knuckles, and Tails watched the couple walk to their date.
"There they go." Tails said as Sonic took off running with Amy.
The Elegant Emerald, Emerald City
Emerald City was always a sight to behold, especially at night with all of the neon lights alit, illuminating the traffic adjourned streets that lay at the bottom of the metropolitan utopia. Its overall size is bigger than that of Station Square, but smaller compared to Empire City. Sonic had seen Emerald City at night many times, but Amy, who hadn't seen Emerald City at night, was mind blown at its beauty.
"Sonic, this is beautiful." Amy gazed up at the neon wonderland as the couple walked into 'The Elegant Emerald'.
The restaurant had its name alit with emerald green colors, the same as Sonic's eye color, with gold lights gleaming alongside.
"Yeah, Emerald City is breathtaking at night." Sonic told her.
Inside was a fancy restaurant that smelled like any restaurant, tasty and delicious, and brimmed with a mellow and happy atmosphere.
"Sonic, this place seems expensive. Are you sure we can eat here?" Amy asked in a worried tone.
"Amy, it's ok. I've eaten here many times." Sonic winked.
"If you say so." Amy smiled.
The two took their seats.
"Sonic, promise me you'll order something besides chili dogs." Amy pleaded.
"But Amy..."
"Please, Sonikku?" Amy had puppy dog eyes. 

Sonic blushed at his nickname.
"Fine, Ames." Sonic smirked, calling Amy by her nickname.
"Fair game." Amy smirked back.
The waiter arrived.
"Hello, how are you two tonight?" The waiter asked. She was a pink rabbit whose ears stood up and she seemed to be in her early 20s.
"Just fine. We're ready to order." Sonic greeted.
"Ok, what would you two like?"
"I'll have the Spagonian Pasta and an ice water." Amy said, stating her order.
"I'll have the Adabat Shrimp with a Chaos Cola." Sonic told the waiter his order.
"Ok, thank you. Your food will be ready shortly." The waiter said, walking off.

During this time, Sonic and Amy just talked about what they had been up to prior to them hooking up just 24 hours ago.
"So our deal is still on, right, Sonikku?" Amy whispered in a seductive tone, causing Sonic to blush.
"You better believe it!" Sonic whispered back, grabbing Amy's hand under the table, causing her to blush as she returned the favor.

The two stared each other in the eyes, resisting the urge to kiss each other in a public setting.
Sonic pecked Amy on the lips and said; "You don't have to worry about me leaving. I'm not going anywhere."
With that phrase, Amy knew Sonic was serious about their relationship.
"Oh, Sonic, you're actually serious about this." Amy hugged him.
"Oh course I am." Sonic smiled.
The rabbit returned with their food.
"Here you go, enjoy!" The waiter smiled.
"Thank you." Amy thanked the waiter. "This looks amazing!" She exclaimed.

The couple ate their meal in silence, savoring every bite they took. It took them 10 minutes to eat their dinner.
"Man, that was delicious." Sonic said, rubbing his stomach with his hand.
"I second that." Amy replied. She then smirked and said; "It's getting late, Sonic. Maybe we should get home and play 'Hide and Seek'." Amy whispered the last part in a seductive tone.
Sonic nodded and yelled; "Check please."

The bunny waiter brought then the check, which Sonic payed it and the couple were gone back to Amy's house.
Amy's house
Sonic and Amy returned to Amy's house.
"Ok, Sonic, I'll hide and you count." Amy said, poking Sonic's nose, then walked upstairs, swaying her hips, causing Sonic to blush.
"This will be fun. Oh, I almost forgot, I better use this." Sonic pulled out a condom. "Thanks, Knux. Ok, Amy, I'm coming!" Sonic yelled, even though he never counted.
"I'm all yours." Amy yelled back.
"You're damn right!" Sonic said to himself as he walked upstairs.
