"I AM DONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! " Amelia's voice filled with glee. She cupped Jayden's face and gushed, "Awwwww, you look so cute and prettttttttttttyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!"

"I have to admit," Lucian started off seriously before laughing out loud, "you are very pretty looking, Jay." "Hey, Ams. I think it is high time for you to meet with the rest of us, don't you think so?"

"HOLY NO. I AM NOT SETTING ANY OF MY FOOT OUT OF THIS BLOODY HOUSE UNTIL ALL OF .. " Jayden's voice boomed throughout the mansion as he waved his hand frantically around his face, "THING GOES OFF,"

"Awwwww, come on. Be a sport," Amelia teased as she pulled out her phone, trying to sneak a picture of him.

"You will not have any evidence of me like this! " He jumped off the couch and grabbed the ornament sword that was laying on top of the fireplace. "HAAA YAAA HAAA YAAA" he mimicked Bruce Lee as he cut through the air.

Both Lucian and Amelia burst into laughter at utterly ridiculous view before them. Amelia fell to her knees, laughing with her arms wrapped around her stomach.

Holding up tears of laughter back, she scrambled to her feet and pulled out her very own katsiya, "Sword fight, huh? I am not one to back from such challenge !"

Totally unfazed, Jayden continued with her Bruce Lee manner and side stepped forward, "HAYA HAYAAA !! COME AT ME! HAYAAAAA !"

Caught off guard, Amelia burst into another round of laughter, dropping her blade to the ground.

"I am sorry, Ams. I don't think .. you can win this round." Lucian said between his laughs. "You can barely even stand!"

"Bow to the almighty swordsman! " Jayden claimed proudly with a bow. "Bow minions bow! Bow to- " he was suddenly cut off when he finally caught his reflection on the window pane. "Holy mother of.. Is that my eyelash.. SHOOOOT.. WHAT THE IS... IS THAT... SHIT ! " His thoughts raced across his mind so fast that even his mouth can't even convey the message out in a proper sentence which sent Amelia and Lucian to yet another round of unending laughter.

"What have you done to me !!" Jayden exclaimed in horror, staring at his own reflection who seems like a whole new person with fake eyelashes, peachy cheeks with purple lips and shiny eyeshadow. "I am literally shining !" "YOU WILL REMOVE THIS RIGHT NOW! RIGHT NOW!" Jayden stormed across the room.

"Roger that, miss universe!" she laughed, getting up on her feet and start digging through her chest of makeup. "Oh,"

"What. What," Jayden panicked.

"Uh Ohhhhhhhhhhhh," Lucian added waves of panic to his very panicked best friend.

"I might have forgotten to bring my makeup remover," she smiled mischievously before running and hiding behind Lucian. "Oops," she added as she peeked from the back of Lucian.

"YOU. YOU !!!" he shouted, trying to pull her away from Lucian but Lucian swiftly stopped him with just one hand.

"It is a mistake, my queen. Please forgive me, my love," Lucian bowed, aggravating Jayden more.

"It is not a joke, Lucian!"

"Hey look! You are actually using my real name! If only I knew back then,"

"It is not funny!"

"Do I actually need to get you a mirror? " Lucian laughed, still standing in between him and Amelia.

"Mirror, mirror on the wall,
Who's the fairest of them all? " Amelia sang heartily, twirling the makeup brush with her fingers.

"And of course, the queen Jayden is above them all," Lucian grinned, unconsciously reaching for Amelia's hand and kissed the back of her hand.

"Oh god, I have to witness this face of mine and the two of you ?? I must have sinned in my past life for me to endure this," Jayden snorted before storming to the closest bathroom in the mansion. Though, his grumbles echoed through the hall.

"Oh god, this is way too hilarious," Amelia laughed.

"It is, love," Lucian cooed as he pulled Amelia front. Lost in all happiness, he forgot all about control. Sudden fear struck his heart, fearing that she would pull away further if he is to change all too suddenly. He internally reprimanded himself.

He released her hand and muttered, "Sorr.. ," but his voice trailed off when she suddenly bit and removed the loose thread on his shirt cuff. He was utterly surprised by her action.

Reading his struggle and confusion in his mind, she smiled, "I don't know how true is this, how it will end up or anything else," and looked right into his eyes and said,

"But, baby steps,"
