Chapter 11: Revenge

**Lapis's POV**
I was terrified. How did Jasper find us?? How could this happen??
I was on the verge of tears as she walked into the light. I didn't want to look at her.. So I burried my face into Peridot's shoulder, bracing myself for the worst.

"look what we have here.. A party. And you didn't even invite me?"
Her groany voice made me quiver in fear.

"we dont want you here, Jasper. Leave." Peridot demanded, with that tone of pure anger.

"you cant make me do anything, runt. You may have knocked me out once, but that wont happen this time."

Peridot balled her hands into fists. She was losing it. And fast.
"Peridot.. Calm down... Dont lose yourself.." I whispered to her. She seemed to relax a bit, but anger still had a tight grip on her.

"im trying my best, Lapis.. But this was supposed to be your birthday party. Not a fight with Jasper." she whispered back.

I felt Jasper's eyes on me, and I just hugged Peridot tighter.
"Lapis.. You're dating this nerd?" she scoffed, rasing her voice.

She was only making Peridot madder, and me more scared. I wanted to hit her myself, but I couldn't do it without breaking my hand.

I heard something that sounded like a whip. I rose my head and looked at the rest of the gang to see Amethyst with a whip in her hands.
Where the hell did she get that?? I thought.

Garnet them took out brass knuckles and put them on, Pearl had a bostaff, Ruby and Saphire were no where to be seen, and Steven had a metal disk or a frisbi of some sort that looked painful to be hit with.

Jasper look alarmed at the weapons they possesed, but not enough to deter her.

I turned around, still holding Peridot, to be met with Jaspers piercing grey eyes looking straight into mine.
She started walking towards us painfully slow, but in a very horror movie kind of way. She then pulled out the same knife Peridot had previously used to stab her.
She looked at Peridot, with an ear-to-ear smirk on her face.

Peridot pulled me behind her and had a very protective look on her face.
"oh come on, pip-squeak. You cant protect her from me. You're we-"
Garnet came and punched Jasper in the back of the head. And hard.
"grr... You curly headed-"

She was about to attempt to stab Garnet when a whip came wrapping around her legs, and a disk hitting her in the face, knocking out a tooth and making her fall back. We all took this chance to run. Peridot and I were running together, hand-in-hand, glancing behind us every five seconds to make sure Jasper wasn't onto us. I nearly choked on air as Jasper came running closer to us at full speed.
"P-Peridot!!" I yelled in fear and panic.

She took that as 'Jasper is right behind us!' and stopped. As her hand gently slipped away from mine, the coldness of the air filled the empty space in my palm. I stopped and turned to her.

"Peridot, come on! We gotta-" I stopped as her now yellow eyes looked into mine. I could tell she desperately wanted me to keep running, but me being the stubborn person I am, I stayed. Jasper slowed down her pace and stopped about 15 feet away from her, chuckling evily.

"so, the nerd decided she could fight me? Pathetic." Jasper said, catching her breath.
Peridot turned towards her with a calm, furious, and protective expression. It was a look you'd have to see for yourself to get what I mean. Peridot looked back at me and gave a warm smile that had the words 'its okay' written all over it.. She turned to Jasper once more, taking off her glasses and throwing them in the some-what tall grass.

Jasper gave her one last smirk before she came charging at Peridot, aiming the knife towards her. Jasper was so oblivious to what Peridot was gonna do to her. Everything went so fast.. The details are vague to me.

After Peridot had turned into her animal form, Jasper was obviously quite puzzled, and alarmed. It was only then that she knew that Peridot could tear her apart. But she was determined to kill Peridot. Kill her! She had the knife, and im sure she thought she had the upper-hand. 

Jasper ran and jumped up, kicking Peri right in the face. Peridot fell back, hitting the ground hard. Jasper then tried stabbing her, which was a mistake. Peridot sat up and bit her arm before the blade came in contact with her head. She bit down hard, and I think I even heard a crack.  Jasper dropped the knife and was screaming in agony, begging her to stop, as blood dripped off her arm into the grass. After a minute, she let go of Jasper's arm and snarled at her.

"dont ever touch Lapis, me, or anyone again. Or you'll be seeing the gates of hell." She spat at her.

After a few moments, she turned back into a human, this time she had clothes on, but they were all ripped up. She had a black eye, and her lip was split open. She probably accidentally bit her lip while she was breaking Jasper's arm. She walked towards me, and leamed against me. I hugged her. The familiar, warm touch made me feel safer. I felt more of her weight press onto me, as her eyes were getting droopy. She was about to pass out. I picked her up and walked the rest of the way to our dorm. Everyone else was no where to be seen.

-time skip after they get back-

A few people questioned us what happened and I just told them she fell out of a tree. I was told to take her to the hospital, but I told them she didn't want to..- which she didn't.

I layed Peridot down gently onto her bed. She barely had her eyes open, and I just felt bad.. I did nothing to help her with Jasper. Sure, she's a wolf and all, but that doesn't change the fact that I did nothing.

I was about to go get water for her when she grabbed my hand and pulled me back a bit.
"stay...." she murmured in a weak, quiet voice.

I sat down next to her, and she wrapped her arms around my waist, nuzzling into my back.

"do you need anything?" I asked, ready to go get her food or something.
"i just want you here with me." she replied, soft-spokenly.

"would you rather me lay down with you than sit up like this awkwardly?"
She groaned and let out a faint 'mhm' and let go of my waist, allowing me to move and lay down with her.

As soon as I was layed down next to her, she wrapped her arms around me and nuzzled the back of my neck. Her body heat radiating onto my body was so soothing. I felt my eye lids getting heavier by the minute, and I fell asleep not long after.
