One clear night I looked up at the sky and saw all the bright twinkling stars above. In that moment i felt that nothing could go wrong and everything was at peace even if it was just for a little while. I walked out onto the soft grass and started to wonder. I wondered what it would be like to be up there so free and twinkling with all the other stars. What it would feel like to see the world from a new angle. Then one by one the stars started to fall. They started to fall from the heavens above in the form of a shooting star. I made so many different wishes that night. As many wishes as I could for the people I loved and for strangers around the world who weren't able to see such a bittersweet sight as this. The stars flying from the safe haven to go see greater things or to crash and burn far away.
Those shooting stars lit up the sky that night. Leaving bits of star dust in their wake. The sky turned into a twinkling light show. And in that moment I felt that nothing could go wrong and everything was at peace even if it was just for a little while.
