Gabriel buried his lips in Cassie's, hoping it would take away the pain.
He became dominant, even violent, desperately holding on to every inch of her body, all the while craving more, craving her are skin on his so he might feel a form of release.

Abigail could see this all on the other side of the balcony glass, inside the common room. She sighed and closed the curtains.
She hoped those two might be happy. Both of them were victims of her actions.
They said that love was just a form chemically induced insanity.
And insane she was.
She drew the curtains close to give them some privacy.
What was next, she asked herself?
All her life, she lived for him. He was the sole purpose of her life.
Now that she wanted so desperately wanted to shut him out, he was still the voice in her head that goaded her on. She told herself that she would not go to see him. That she must resist this urge.
But you need me. The voice whispered.
You are nothing without me. I am a part of you now, and you'll never get rid of me.

"Gaby..." Cassie giggle, staring adoringly at the boy lying next to her. She placed a hand on his bare chest, and he flinched.
Now that the sex was over and that the alcohol was starting to wear off, regret washed over Gabriel.
He laid there still, letting the girl pepper kisses all over his body, but felt nothing inside. He looks at Cassie, but her adoring eyes only made him want to look away.
He did this to get back at Abigail...but somehow, he felt worse.
"I love you." Cassie whispered. He said nothing.
He wish he could feel something, but nothing came to him. The coldness and deeper within seeped out and washed over him in a coat of deep melancholy.
He loved her so, so much.
But all along, it was just a sick, sick act directed by the puppet master himself, Tom Riddle.
He lost both his mother and father within the span of weeks.
He even lost himself.
He looked at the ceiling and sighed deeply.
What the fuck do you want from me? What did I ever do to you?
"Look at me." Cassie said, holding his lovely face in her hands and kissing it. He looks at her, and sees another empty face looking into his own.

Marvolo Delacrioux sat with his lawyers around the table, deep in thought.
After the incident with his wife, he was shaken to the core.
He still had no idea who would target her like that. However, if they could do it to her, he is also vulnerable. Paranoia took hold of him and he needed a sense of security. He need to protect his estate and make sure all would be taken care of, even if he died.
The paper was laid out in front of him. In signing this, he would make Tom Riddle the prime benefactor of his estates in his death.
He sighed and put down the quill.
Gabriel was his first and legitimate son, after all. he watched the boy grow up. Heartless as he was, he still had some affection for his son.
He took the paper and asked his secretary to lock it up. He would give Gabriel s second chance, he decided.

"Look at me." Cassie said to Abigail, who was seemingly buried in the Daily Prophet during breakfast.
"o-oh." Abigail said, looking at her friend, reflecting on what she saw last night.
"You saw, didn't you?" Cassie said, searching Abigail's face for a reaction.
"Y-yes." Abigail said.
"I'm sorry." Cassie mumbled, putting on her best apologetic front.
Abigail sighed. She felt an invisible barrier between her and her friend, but she wanted to tear it down and tell her the honest truth.
"You know what? I'm sorry, Cass. It's okay. You have nothing to be sorry about...if-if you want to be with him, I'll be happy for you."
"Really?"
"Of course. I only want the best for both of you. Truly."
"Thank you, Abi." Cassie said.
Across the hall, a pair of dark eyes gazed upon Abigail and willed her to go to him. She felt the piercing gaze burn though her and spread through her body like a wildfire.
All along, it was pointless to avoid him.
He signaled for her to meet him by the door. Reluctantly, she nodded. He smiled.
