Chapter 13
Quinn's POV:
"Well, let's see how you like looking like a Wotsit." Soon the blonde was covered in orange paint. Plus, what the hell is a Wotsit? I couldn't take my eyes off her. No, not the blonde but the blue eyed, Brown haired girl that threw the paint at her. The girl's eyes were like a colour you could only find in a crayon box and her hair looked as soft as feathers. All throughout the video, her name hadn't been mentioned once but it just added to my attraction to her. I sounded like a completely whipped guy but she was just so God damn beautiful. Actually, their whole group was pretty attractive but I was only interested in her. On a completely different note, the mural they created looked awesome. Including the man-eating unicorn that started that whole paint war thing. Incredibly, not a splash of paint ended up on the painting.
"Quinn, what the hell man?!" I quickly rose to my feet and turned to face the person. Or should I say people... Aaron, Brett and Chad were standing there with their arms crossed.
"Dude, we were supposed to meet by the field for free period." Brett told me while uncrossing his arms. My face twisted into a look of confusion.
"Why?" Was my simple one word question.
"To go laugh at fat people jumping from the diving board at the pool. Idiot, why do you think? To play football, dumbass." Chad answered sarcastically. I frowned.
"Shut up." I mumbled under my breath. Aaron, who hadn't said anything since he arrived, finally spoke up.
"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go." He then walked out of the library. The rest of us gave each other questioning glances.
"Who shoved a stick up his ass?" Chad voiced the thought going through all out heads. Brett and I both gave each other incredulous looks before simultaneously smacking Chad across the head.
"Ow! Will you stop abusing me?" He complained, rubbing the sore spot.
"But Chad, it's not abuse... It's animal abuse." I cracked up laughing along with Brett, who made the comment.
"I hope you step on freaking Lego." Chad growled. I immediately sobered up.
"Woah, dude! Let's not get serious, that shit hurts." I told him. Brett just nodded along like some bobble head.
"Whatever, let's just go." Chad sulked out of the library followed by Brett. I quickly removed the CD and put it back in its case. I made sure the computer was logged off before leaving. I didn't go to the field straight away- there was a small pit stop at Ms Madison's classroom. From the window, I could see her scurrying around searching for something; it was most likely the CD I had I'm my hand. Rapidly giving two knocks on the door, I waited for her to actually acknowledged me. When two whole minutes had passed, I was pissed so I just threw the door open.
"Ms Madison, I think I found something that belongs to you." I handed her the case and waited for a reaction. For a moment she just stood there. But suddenly... She rushed out of the without even a thank you. Rude much? Everyone in the school knew that Ms Madison was, for a lack of a better word, weird. I thought she'd have the basic manners at least. I shrugged it off and finally walked to the field. The guys were already doing some basic passing back and forth between themselves. Aaron, wearing his Venice High varsity jacket, was practicing his long passes since he's quarterback. When I came into their eyeline, they paused. Chad was the one who spoke first.
"Took you long enough. What happened, did you get lost?" He said with mocking pout on his face.
"Dude, need I remind you of your mom's floral dress, heels and lipstick?" I threatened back. Chad froze and hissed at me.
