Chapter 3

BELLA'S POV

I bit into the apple slowly and chewed quickly, i was getting really used to doing nothing but sitting at home with no job.
Thank God for savings.
I was going to get a new job if Wade hadn't been so keen on moving to New York, i loved how he had already made so many plans for us, it was going to be our happy ending, things were finally going to be perfect.

"Bella", i heard behind me, i turned to find Stacy holding my ringing phone, "it's Wade", she said smiling, i took the phone from her and picked it up, holding it to my ear as she walked towards her room.

"Hello princess", Wade said almost immediately.

"You're up early", i said amusingly, "it's just 12pm", i added staring at the little clock which was hanging above the tv.

He chuckled, "i've been making plans", he said, "which is one of the reasons i called", he added, "you wanna go out tonight?", he asked.

"What's the other reason?", i asked curiously.

"So i could hear your voice", he said softly and i smiled to myself feeling like a lovestruck teenager. "So tonight?", he asked.

"Do i have a choice?", i asked, "i mean you already made plans", i added.

"You know i like to plan ahead Bella, plus i knew you'd say yes", he said.

"I haven't said yes"

"But you will"

I rolled my eyes, "okay, where are we going?", i asked.

"Don't ask or think about that", he said, "just be ready by seven and i'll send someone to pick you up", he added.

"Fine, what should i wear then?", i asked.

"You would look ravishing in anything Bella", he said, "talk to you later princess, i love you", he added.

"I love you too", i said smiling before i hung up.

I took another bite of the apple in my hand. "Stacy!", i yelled, she walked out of her room and stared at me.

"What's up?", she asked sitting down on the couch next to me.

"Wade wants to go out tonight", i said. "

"Hmmm, to where?"

"He won't say", i said.

She creased her eyebrows together, "how do you know what to wear then?", she asked, i simply shrugged and she sighed, "c'mon, let's go check out your wardrobe", she said as she stood up, "i'm sure we can come up with something", she added.

I smiled as i stood up and followed her, if there was one thing Stacy was flawless at, it was picking outfits.

WADE'S POV

"I want everything to be perfect", i said to Megan and Felix.

"Well, let's set fireworks on the beach to spell out WILL YOU MARRY ME?", Felix said dramatically, "i can do it for the right price", he added.

"Waaayyy too cheesy", Megan said, "plus you'd probably mess it up and set the ocean on fire", she added staring at Felix.

I laughed, "how is that even possible?".

"Anything's possible for Felix", she said shrugging and Felix stuck out his tongue at her like a child.

"So i should stick to my idea then?".

"Yes, let's stick to that", she said.

"Will there be alcohol to celebrate after she says yes?!", Felix asked excitedly making me frown.

"There will be no alcohol around Bella", i said, "i don't want my baby coming out with four arms", i added.

They both laughed, "that's not even possible", Megan said, "besides she won't drink it", she added, "we'll just get some beer for the guys and me of course", she said again and i nodded.

"So Felix is picking her up", i said.

"Why me?", he asked pouting.

"Because Wade will be too busy fidgeting nervously", Megan said amusingly.

"I won't be nervous", i said frowning

"Right"

"Anyway, Felix will pick her up and bring her to the garden", she said, "and you and i will go out right now and get food", i said to her.

"Just make sure there's food for everyone, some of us starve too", Felix said as Megan stood up from the couch.

She picked up her phone and stared at it.
"It's almost 1pm, we have six hours to plan the best proposal ever", she said, "Gentlemen, shall we?", she asked looking up at the both of us.

Just then, Luke, one of the ex raiders staying with us walked into the living room in a light blue robe and flip flops. "Is that my robe?", Megan asked angrily.

"Oh", Luke said softly as he turned and ran back in the direction he came.

"I live with fucking animals!", she said out loud.

"Ouch", Felix and I said amusingly.

"I'm going to change", she said, "we'll leave in ten minutes", she added frustratingly as she walked away.

I chuckled, "so about Bella...", Felix said and I turned to look at him, "i'm supposed to pick her up by 6, right?", he asked. I threw a cushion at him which he barely dodged.

"7, you idiot"

"Oh yeah", he said grinning at me.
