BELLA
"Do a little spin for me", Stacy said and I turned around awkwardly while she clapped and giggled like a sixteen year old cheerleader.
"You look amazing", she said, "My best friend is going to work for Aaron Ramsey as his personal assistant", she pouted and placed a finger under her eyes, rubbing off an imaginary tear and sniffing.
I chuckled, "I hope he's not a cranky boss like Frank"
"If he is, I'll write a whole article about how Aaron Ramsey treats his employees like slaves on my blog", she said, "the people would kill for that. You and I will drag his beautiful self to the depths of hell"
"You're crazy", I laughed as I grabbed my bag from the couch. "I'll see you later tonight. Wish me luck"
"With that dress, honey you don't need luck", she said as she blew me a kiss and I left the apartment

The doors to the elevator opened and I walked in. There was a man inside staring at his phone.
"What floor?", He asked, looking up once the door closed.
"Sixth", I replied, forcing a smile and holding on to my bag. I took deep breaths. It was my first day, I would die if anything went wrong.
"I've never seen you around", he said as boring elevator music began to play.
"It's my first day", I said without looking at him but I could tell he was nodding.
"I'm Micah"
"Bella". We shook hands.
The elevator didn't open until we got to the sixth floor and both got out.
"It was nice to meet you Bella", he said as he walked away.
The sixth floor was the most luxurious part of the building because it was where Aaron Ramsey, the son of one of the top fashion designers in the country had his office built. Chandeliers hung from the ceiling, the air conditioner made sure everywhere was freezing cold. I silently cursed Stacy for making me wear a dress without sleeves. People walked around, probably managers and their assistants. Situated at the extreme end of the large hall was a big brown door which led to Aaron's office.
I walked towards it slowly, taking deep breaths as I did, aware of the fact that all the people around me probably already knew the people who walked out of that elevator daily and that I wasn't one of them. I had to be careful, I was the new girl and it's very easy for the new girl to become bad gossip in the office.
When I got to the door, I knocked. There was silence followed by grumpy mumbling from inside before the words, "come in" were said. I opened the door and peeked inside. Aaron sat behind his desk, a huge window behind him, showing off an amazing view of the entire city. He looked up and smile at the sight of me.
"Bella!, Come in, come in", he said.
I walked into the office and shut the door behind me. Aaron gestured for me to take a sit on one of the chairs opposite him on the other side of the big white desk. The smile on his face never quavered as I sat.
The walls in Aaron's office were white and so was the couch that sat along with a coffee table in one corner of the room. Everything including the desk Aaron sat behind and the chairs we both sat on, was white. Paintings hung on the walls making me think he was some kind of art enthusiast.
"Good morning, Mr Ramsey", I said softly.
"I'm not one of those people Bella", he said, "please call me Aaron. I thought we skipped the pleasantries during the interview"
I thought back to the interview. He had told me to not be so formal towards him but I guess I was still nervous.
"I have all these designs to approve and it's driving me crazy honestly but I'm glad you're here. Your job is to put my life in order. I can trust you with that right?", He asked beaming and I smiled and gave a quick nod.
The door opened just then and Aaron's smile disappeared and he raised his eyebrows instead. "I didn't know you were going to be here today", he said to the person who walked in.
"I didn't think I would be but mom cancelled breakfast plans with me so I thought I'd come spend some time with my amazing father". There was a sarcastic tone in the statement but my mind was set on the familiarity of the voice instead.
The second man in the room sat in the chair next to mine and faced Aaron for a while before turning to me. We stared at each other and I blinked twice. It was the man in the elevator.
"Bella, this is my son Micah. Micah, meet my new P.A, Bella", Aaron said.
"We've met", Micah said, a smirk playing on his lips, "nice to see you again Bella"
"And you too", I said, turning to face Aaron who had a confused look on his face. Both father and son looked nothing like each other. Micah didn't have his father's captivating eyes and charming demeanor. It made me think Aaron must have been a playboy when he was younger, considering the fact that he was a successful fashion influencer at a young age. Micah's attractiveness however was almost innocent. If Aaron was hot, Micah was cute.
Aaron handed me a black book, "I tried to write down my own schedules since my former assistant left last week. Everything I'll be doing today and tomorrow is all in there. You start immediately"
Micah crossed his legs in his seat, staying silent and proceeding to stare at his phone instead.
"Okay", I said, opening the book and staring at the schedule. "You have a meeting this afternoon by 2pm. Do you need anything before then?"
"Yes, I have to teach you something very important. A crucial part of working with me, probably the most important", Aaron said.
"What is that?", I asked.
"How to make my cup of coffee"
Sitting next to me, Micah scoffed.
I'm baaaaccckkk
How do I begin to apologise??
