BELLA

"Have a drink with me today"

I looked up from behind Aaron's desk. "What?"

Micah rolled his eyes, "have a drink with me today", he said again.

I looked away from him and back at the desk as I searched for the reason I entered Aaron's office in the first place.

"Bella", Micah said in a whining tone.

"Yes?"

"You could just say no if you don't want to, you know"

I sighed, "No"

He frowned, "why not?"

I chuckled, "I thought I was allowed to say no"

"Well I didn't expect you to actually say no"

I shook my head, "you must think you're all that". I went back to searching for Aaron's folder.

"What are you doing anyway?"

"Aaron asked me to get the yellow folder with his designs in it on his desk. He forgot to mention that they're all yellow folders", I dug my hands into my hair and sighed heavily.

Micah chuckled, "yellow is his favorite color", he said as he began to open a bunch of folders before eventually handing me one identical to all the others.

"That folder contains some of my father's actual designs", he said, "pretty good if you ask me"

I collected it and smiled, "thank you"

"You might be able to actually thank you by letting me take you out for a drink later", he put his hands in his pockets as I stood up from behind the desk.

"I'm busy today", I said hugging the folder with the both hands.

Micah rolled his eyes and smirked, "my father treats his staff like they're his children. He would never torture them to the extent of not giving them a lunch break"

I sighed and bit my lip. Micah wasn't taking no for an answer. His brown eyes studied me for a while and I was once again reminded of his resemblance to his father.

"Fine", I said and he grinned. "My lunch break starts by one"

"Great, we'll meet at the cafeteria by one"

"Are we getting the drinks there?"

"Nope", he said and turned around, walking towards the door. I followed and he stopped before opening the door for me and bowing slightly, gesturing for me to go out first.

I chuckled, "I see chivalry is not dead", I said as I walked out.

"A few of us survived in the war against the assholes and jerks"

"Wow, so you're almost extinct?"

"We plan on teaching the younger generations the art so as to keep it alive"

His phone rang at that moment and he took it out of his pocket to stare at it. "I have to go now", he said, "see you at one?"

I nodded, "see you at one"

"It's a date pretty girl", he walked away.

***

"The weather isn't as hot as it usually is", I said as I watched a pretty blonde woman enter a cab.

"That's why I thought we should take a walk", Micah said as we walked down the sidewalk.

"So where are we going?", I turned to face him.
