Just a Dream

*Narrator

Janet and Katherine heard some screaming voices on Michael and Raine's room. They went to the room and Janet tried to open the door but it's locked. 

*Janet

"Raine! Michael!! Open the door!" I kept on knocking but nothing happened. 

"I'm gonna get the spare key and try to open the door." Mother said and I nod my head. She immediately went downstairs. I heard Aubrey cried from the noise she heard. I went into Aubrey's room and I got her. I put her on my shoulders and rubbed her back. 

"It's okay Brey, we gonna open the door to your mom and dad.." Just then, I saw Mother got the keys and she got the key to the master's bedroom and she opened the door. We immediately went inside and both of them are having a nightmares. 

"Mother, wake Michael up, I'm gonna wake Raine.." I went to her place and wake her up.

"Raine! Sissy! Wake up.." 

"Son, please wake up.." The both of them wake up and sat on their bed at the same time. They are sweating and panting like crazy, like they went on a nonstop run.

"What just happen?" Michael asked.

"I had a nightmare." Raine said.

"Me too." Michael said.

"About what?" Mother asked them.

"About Brooke killing me.." Raine said.

"We have the same dream! You're in the casket and in the cemetery.." Michael said. Raine immediately stand and start panicking. 

*Michael

It's impossible that we have the same dream. I stand up and went to Raine. She hugged me and she cried on my chest. I rubbed her back and I saw Janet and Mother went outside. I grabbed Raine's face and wiped her tears. 

"I won't let that happen to you, babe. I'm gonna keep you safe from her, also Aubrey. I'm gonna make our family safe.." 

"You promise?"

"I promise baby.. I won't let anything happen to our family.." She didn't say anything and I just swayed a little and I comfort her. 

~After an hour~ 

Raine finally went to sleep. That dream is really crazy and like real! But I already called the guards and I told them to guard up the house very hard and be vigilant. I also called Frank and told him about what happened. He told my bodyguards to tighten up their guardianship for me and my family. Our trip to Hawaii is cancelled for now and we won't be able to spend the Christmas just the three of us. We just want to be safe than continue our trip to Hawaii. I went downstairs and saw Mother and Janet playing with Aubrey. I went to Aubrey and kissed her forehead. 

"Da-da, mom-mom?" Aubrey said.

"Mommy is sleeping baby girl. Mommy had a bad dream and I let mommy go to sleep first." I kissed her cheek and she lay her head on my shoulder. 

"Is she okay, Mike?" Janet asked.

"Yeah, she's just sleeping. We won't continue our trip to Hawaii. I just wanna make sure that Raine is okay and my family is secure for now." I told them.

"Do you want me and Mother to stay here with you guys?" Janet asked.

"It's okay guys. I have my day-off until next week."

"Okay.. Are you okay, son?" Mother asked me.

"I'm not sure mother. The dream kept bugging me. I just want the safety of my family. I just want us to be safe and far from any harm and danger."

"What about Brooke?" Janet asked.

"I don't know, she's in the prison and cannot escaped."

"Christmas is coming. I just wished for everyone's safety.." Mother said.

"I also wished mother.." Me and Janet said at the same time.

"The Lord will be here to guide each and everyone.." Mother said and I just smiled at her. After a couple of minutes, Mother and Janet decided to go home and I put Aubrey to sleep because she's sleeping peacefully in my shoulder. After I put her on her crib, I went inside our room and saw Raine still sleeping. I lay down beside her and I cuddled with her. Just then, I received a call from Janet and I answered the call.

~CALL~

M: Hey dunk!

J: Mike, can I bring one guy on our New Year's Eve party?

M: Is he your boyfriend?

J: Yeah. I would like you guys to meet him and he's a nice guy.

M: Sounds good to me.

J: Yeah and I gotta go. Bye applehead! Love yah!!

M: Bye dunk!

~END~

I ended the call and I put the phone on the nightstand and I went to look at Raine.

*Raine

I opened my eyes and saw Michael, wide awake and he smiled at me. I cuddled closer to him and I felt him kissed my forehead.

"Are you okay??" He asked me.

"Yeah, I am."

"I cancelled our trip to Hawaii--"

"What?"

"I want you guys to be safe before we fly to Hawaii.."

"No Michael, we need this vacation for us to have some time to relax and be away from our problems."

"I just want our safety first."

"Michael, we'll be fine and I'm sure that our dreams will remain dreams."

"Please Raine.."

"What shall we do here?"

"Spend the Christmas here.."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah.. I just want your safety.."

"I won't argue with you.." He kissed my forehead and then, I received a call. I got my phone on the nightstand and I looked at the caller ID and it's Jessie.

~CALL~

R: Hello?

J: Raine, you have a photoshoot tomorrow..

R: Really? Christmas day, I'm having my work?!

J: It's gonna take an hour then you're free.

R: It should be work free!

J: Just decide, Penshoppe or your day..

R: If Penshoppe doesn't want me to do it, then I quit Penshoppe.. Family is important for me than work.. Jessie please do it for me, tell Penshoppe that I quit..

J: Opportunity is there Raine, but you're so brave to know what comes first.

R: You're on my side?

J: Of course. You have the point on working on holidays.

R: Thank you so much.

J: I gotta go.. Have a nice holidays!

R: Thanks. You too.

~END~

I put back the phone and sat on the bed. Michael sat in front of me and he held my hand and by just rubbing my hand, it makes me calm more.

"Baby, you okay?" Michael asked me.

"Yes babe, I'm okay.."
