Hard Day

*Michael

"Daddy, I want mommy!!" Aubrey and Prince cried. Me and Janet looked at each other and I just sighed deeply.

"I know guys, I also want mommy but the court decided that me and mommy are better without near each other. But, you will see mommy every weekends and that I promise you."

"I wanted my mommy and uncle Cap now!" Aubrey said.

"Uncle cap? Who's that?"

"It's uncle Chris! He is always there for me, Prince and mommy. He always plays with me and Prince and he takes care of me, Prince and mommy!!" 

"Does your uncle Chris loves mommy?" I scaredly asked.

"He loves all of us!" Prince said. Just then, he and Aubrey went inside their rooms and I sat there dumbfounded. 

"It's all my fault Jan. I shouldn't let my fantasies take control of me! Me and Raine are now divorced all because of me! I broke my promise to her and now, she left me and now she's starting to move on because of Chris. I'm so fucking stupid!!"

"Mike, every thing is in the past now. Try to not let Raine down by taking care of your kids. Remember what she told us, no matter what happens, she won't let the kids forget who their real father is. She can't take their biological father be forgotten."

"I know, but I haven't done anything when the papers were immediately brought to me with her signature." 

"Maybe try to gain her trust again."

"I know her, she doesn't give third chances. She knows when someone asked for her second chance and she knew that person deserves it, don't dare to bring her down, because she's not the girl to mess with. She already gave second chance to me and I blew it up." 

"Just earn her trust again, I did not say rekindle your relationship, but earn her trust for the sake of your children."

"I wish it was just easy, but no.."

*Raine

~The next day~

I woke up and looked at my phone. I saw many messages from the different kinds of media and asking that is it true if me and Michael are totally over. I just removed the notification and saw my wallpaper has been changed. My lock screen was the photo of me and Chris. I check my home screen and saw the picture of me, the kids and Chris are happily smiling. I heard someone knocked on the door, I looked at the door and saw Chris poked out his head and he smiled at me. 

"I guess you've seen your phone." 

"I did." I said while smiling and shaking my head. "Why did you change them?"

"It was kind of the motivational picture of me, you and the kids. It will help you smile anytime you see your phone." He said while sitting in front of me and he held my face in his hands.

"Thank you."

"I hope you're not mad."

"No I'm not. You're just helping me to move on, that's all."

"I'm glad. So, you want breakfast?" He asked.

"What? Don't tell me you prepare?"

"Yup! I did prepared our breakfast."

"You don't need to--"

"Let me.." Just then, he went closer and he kissed my lips. I put my arms around his neck and kissed him back. I broke the kiss and smiled at him. 

"45%" I said and went out of the room.

"What does 45% means?" I just didn't notice him and before I reached the dining, he grabbed my waist and he pulled me closer to him. 

"What does it mean?"

"When it reaches to one hundred, that's the time you'll become my boyfriend. But right now, give me some time to move on and let me ask the children if they wanted you to become part of my life."

"Yes!!" He excitedly screamed and he carry me and I held his shoulder and he twirl us around.

"Alright alright.." I said and he puts me down. We went to the dining table and when I saw the table, it was set up so beautifully. 

*Michael

I woke up early and prepared the table for the kids. But when I went to the dining, I already see them eating pancakes with fruit slices on the sides.

"Good morning kids!" I said and went to kiss their heads and they didn't respond at me. I awkwardly sat on my chair and I let the maids went out so that me and the kids could have another talk about their mom.

"I know what you wanted.." I told them. 

"We want to go back to mommy and uncle cap!" Aubrey said.

"We cannot disobey the rules of the law, princess. But, if you like, we could ask your mom to come and visit you today?" 

"Really?!" Aubrey and Prince said. 

"Yes baby, just please promise me to stay here with me, because I missed you guys so much." 

"Of course daddy!" Prince said and Aubrey nodded her head. 

"Okay, I'll call mommy through video call and you and Prince will talked to her." 

"Okay daddy!" Aubrey went beside Prince and they are really excited to tell their mom about the news. I opened my phone and call Raine and I hope she answers. Just then, she answered the call and I put the phone in front of Aubrey and Prince.

"Mommy!!" Aubrey and Prince shouted at the same time. I just giggled and smile at them. 

"Oh my gosh! Hi my little angels! Mommy missed you so much!" Raine said trying to control her tears. Though I couldn't see her, I can sense it through her voice and damn well I know her longer!

"We missed you so much mommy. Can you come and visit us today? Daddy said that I needed to ask you to come here in Neverland and have a playtime with you because we missed you and uncle cap!" 

"We missed you so much! Speaking of uncle cap, look who's beside me!" 

"Hey there my little sergeants!" I heard Chris' voice rang through my ears and that made me curious. 

"Uncle cap!! We missed you!!!" Prince said.

"Aww, I missed you too, sergeants! I heard that you're asking mommy to come there with you?"

"Yeah! And we wanted you to come too. We'll build the blanket fort and do heroes stuff and have a movie like what we always do." Aubrey said. Just then, the reality hit me. Chris was there when I should be the one. He became the father figure when I wasn't there beside my family, he protected them.

"Why me? Your daddy is now there and I'm just some--"

"Just go and do what they asked." Raine said to Chris.

"Okay little sergeants, I'll go because your mom insisted." 

"YEHEY!" The kids cheered. 

"We'll be there in an hour. Now, what I want you to do is to finish your breakfast, choose your clothes, and take a bath. Then, Aubrey help your brother, okay?" 

"Okay mommy, I promise." 

"Oh and Prince, listen to your sister, okay?" 

"Yes mommy." 

"Go on little sergeants, me and your mom will get ready See you in a lil bit."

"Okay uncle cap! Bye! Bye mommy! We love you!!" Aubrey and Prince said. 

"We love you too kids. Bye!" Just then, the call ended. Aubrey and Prince began to finish their food and began to follow their mom's instruction.
