The next day, Will woke up to a lot of voices in his house. Mike's worried steps walking from here to there, Lucas and Max muttering, Dustin asking out loud "where the heck is Will?". They kinda reminded him of when Bob died. The entire party went to visit him and his mother.
But Bob had died months ago. What where they doing here...?
He got up. "Jane is going to leave and we won't have a chance to say goodbye" Dustin complained again.
Aaah, right! Jane is leaving for two weeks. He quickly got dressed and went to the dining room.
"Finally!" Dustin muttered. Mike gave him a shut-up-or-i'm-gonna-kill-you look and then he approached Will and grabbed his arm. Will's heart instantly started beating faster. Mike's hand was so warm and soft.
"Will, we have to go. Now." He nodded and Mike let his arm go. Will still felt his hand in the exact place where it was one minute ago.
They all went outside and hopped on their bikes and they rode to Hopper's house. When they got there, Jane was putting her two suitcases in the car.
When she turned around and saw them, she smiled. They all went to hug her. Hopper watched the scene from the car, smiling.
Jane said goodbye to all of them and then, she approached Will. She strongly hugged him. "Will, I know you and Mike have a special relationship that none of the others have. I'm not gonna ask you to take care of him because he can do that himself, but please be with him. Don't let him be alone, okay?" she said, smiling. Will smiled and he nodded. Jane gave one last kiss to Mike and then got in the car.

"Mike. Mike? Mike!!" Karen screamed, opening the basement door. She found Mike sitting in the sofa. "Mike, dinner is ready. Would you please come upstairs already? We're waiting for you." she asked, impatiently. Mike had stayed in the basement the entire day with the party, playing D&D, and when they left he had kept playing by himself, which didn't turn out good.
"I'm not hungry" he replied. He was in a bad mood, he really didn't want to have dinner with his entire family and pretend to be happy. He was mad at the world.
"No, I'm not letting you skip dinner again. Come upstairs" she insisted.
"Mum, I said I'm not hungry."
"You know it's okay not to be okay, right?" she asked, completely surprising Mike. "I know you're sad because Jane's mum died and she has to go away for two weeks, but that doesn't mean you can't have dinner. Now can you please come upstairs and have dinner with your family?"
Mike got up and went upstairs. Everyone was sitting in the table with a huge plate of meat and potatoes in the middle. He sat down in his usual place. Then, the bell rang.
"I'll go" Nancy announced, walking to the door. She opened it.
Will was holding a huge bag and he smiled.
"Hi. I'm here to stay with Mike while Jane's not here and he's mad at everyone" he announced.
"Nancy, who is it?" Karen asked, while Ted ate some potatos.
"Uhh... it's Will. And I'm pretty sure he's planning on sleeping here. For a long time".
