Maegan
I slowly open my eyes from one of the best sleeps I've ever had in my life. It was Monday, meaning I have to work. Gasp, Maegan has a job? Who knew? Well, you can't blame me for needing the money. I still have to pay for half of my rent - Madison pays the other half - and pay for gas in my car, etc. I yawn and rub my eyes slightly, slowly getting up and heading towards my closet. I look in it and grab a plain, black singlet, as well as a red and black plaid men's flannel. I walk over to my dresser in which I open up the third drawer and pull out a pair of ripped, black skinny jeans.
I walk over to the bathroom that is, thankfully, connected to my bedroom and lay the clothes I had picked out for the day onto the smallish sink. I walk over to the bathtub and turn on the water to the perfect temperature, stepping back a bit to let it warm up. I quickly strip of my bed clothes and put my finger under the flowing water, checking to see if it was not too cold or not too hot. I smile slightly to myself as I come to find out that the water was just the right temperature for a nice shower. I pull on the thing to change it from the faucet to the shower head before quickly stepping into the tub.
After I'm done with the refreshing shower, I wrap a towel around myself. I quickly put on all of my clothes and blow dry my hair, straightening it soon after. I walk over to my bed and grab my phone, sliding it into my front jeans pocket. I walk over to the door to my bed room and grab some old and tattered Chucks before putting them on and tying them. After that, I head out my bed room door and down the stairs. I slow down my speed as I hear a voice from the kitchen - Madison's voice. She's clearly on the phone because I can only hear her voice.
I slowly walk towards the corner of the long hallway before leaning forward slightly. I know it wasn't right to eavesdrop, but I feel like I needed to.
"No, Cal-" Pause. "I can't!" She exclaims as my brows furrow. She was talking to Calum? Maybe it was another friend? "I, just. She doesn't know." Pause. "I can't just fucking tell her, you idiot!" I raise a brow. Tell who? What were Madison and Calum hiding from me? If she was even talking to Calum, that is. "I'm sorry, I just can't do it right now." Pause. "Yeah, yeah. See ya later." And then I hear a sigh come from the kitchen. I sigh slightly and walk into the room Madison is in just as she locks her phone. She looks up at me as I walk past her and towards the counter.
"Sleep well?" She asks as I grab an apple and turn around.
"Yeah, I did. You?" I asked, taking a bite as I walk over to the opposite counter. I look across the small key rack we have hanging up before reaching over and grabbing mine.
"I did, thanks." She replies.
"That's good. I'm gonna head out now; see ya later, yeah?"
"Alright, have fun at work!" Madison yells as I am already out the door.
"Will do," I mutter softly as I walk down the drive way and towards my car. I unlock the doors and get into the driver's seat. I close the door behind me before putting my car key in and buckling myself in. I quickly turn the car on and drive out of the drive way and onto the road.
Once I arrive at the mall, I go to the place where you check in. There really was no exact way to explain it. Employees at the mall just checked in at security, I guess you could say. I make my way down the what-seems-like-it'd-be-a-never-ending-straight-line-but-it's-not hallway towards the security place and soon reach my destination. I do what is all required to check in and then make my way back down the white tiled hall. I push the doors to the main center of the mall open and turn left, beginning to walk that way.
I pass Build-A-Bear and the carousel and then turn to my left. I continue walking down the mall corridors, humming a random song that I know is by All Time Low. I soon come to my destination: Hot Topic.
