"Uh, hey," I mutter under my breath, my voice barely audible. "I thought you were, uh, still in Adelaide?"

"Oh, um, I left earlier than I thought I would be leaving," Madison explains, smiling softly. Calum looks over at me and smiles gently towards me. These acts put together cause my heart to both flutter with pure ecstasy and shatter with even more heart break.

I shake my head and head up the stairs and into my room. I quickly change into a pair of sweats and one of Luke's shirt he always leaves at the house before jogging back down the stairs. I stop at the doorway that leads to the hallway, the hallway that leads to my escape of this utterly disgusting cuddle fest. "Luke and I are going over to Michael's tonight," I say as I quickly grab my belongings and rush out the door and to Luke's car, not in the mood to hear their responses - let alone be in their presence.

"Hey, Maegan, you okay?" Luke asks as he glances at me quickly, beginning to pull out of the driveway and down the road to Michael's.

"Just peachy," I reply icily, staring out my window and gnawing on my bottom lip to prevent myself from screaming like I so badly wanted to do at the given moment.

We soon arrive at Michael's house and we get out of the car, heading up to the front door and walking in. Whenever Michael knows we're coming over, he doesn't even bother to get the door. I believe it's mainly because he knows we wouldn't knock anyway.

I sigh heavily though my nose before kicking off my shoes by the door. "Mike?" I yell through the house, rubbing my eyes with the palms of my hands slightly.

"My room!" I hear Michael yell from up the stairs. Luke and I walk up to the second floor and into Michael's room.

"Hey, guys," Mikey says, smiling softly towards us from his spot at his desk. I smile polietely at him before walking over to his bed. I lay down on it, fluttering my eyes closed as I replay what has happened in less than ten minutes. 

Luke and I snuck away from the meet up. I went to Madison and I's apartment. I saw Madison and Calum cuddling. My heart broke a lot. And now here I was, biting my lip with such force I was sure it was bleeding to keep myself from shedding a single tear.

"Maegan, are you okay?" Michael asks softly. I feel the bed shift next to me and feel someone curl up close to me. Michael.

"Yeah, I'm fine," I open my eyes and look down at Michael, plastering a fake smile on my face.

Michael gives me a strange glance, but decides to go along with it. Just then, there's a knock on the door from downstairs.

"That reminds me," Michael says as he sits up and stands up, smirking. "I have someone for you two to meet."
