Dr Stone decided that we should meet at the coffee shop near her office instead of a formal visit. I dressed for work since I had to be there afterwards.

"How are things with you?" Dr Stone asked while going through the menu.

"Good and you?" I asked, already knowing what I was gonna get.

"I'm pregnant," her face lit up when she shared the information.

"Wow that's amazing, I'm so happy to hear. You plan on getting married?"

She lifted her hand to show me the huge ass diamond on her engagement ring.

"You're engaged too? Awesome, I'm so happy for you." I showed her my pearly whites. I was genuinely happy for her, at least someone should get a happy ending.

"I'm so excited but enough about me. How are things with you and Mona? Has she decided on a relationship?"

"No, I don't ever think she will either. She's in love with her current boyfriend."

"But surely she loves you too?"

"Yeah, but it's not like that. I love her too but it's more like a best friend situation."

"Okay, I understand."

We ordered our coffee and food. We talked some more and ate. I wondered if I should tell her about Cam? She was the one that encouraged even trying to date a stud and she was my personal confidant that I'm paying to hold onto my thoughts for me.

"Sooo, I went on a date." I blushed.

"Really? That's great. Who is the lucky girl?"

"Her name is Cam and she's a stud."

"Great choice." She winked at me. I blushed and went into details about what happened over the weekend.

After finishing up our conversation she made mention that she had to go back into work. We paid for our coffee and left. I was walking over to the parking lot to get my Jeep when I saw Milly.

"Yo Milly!!" I shouted across the parking lot.

"Wassup G? You didn't get back to me about the computer.. it's straight?" She dapped me up.

"Yeah yeah. Last time I checked on it some updates were still running so I left it hooked up."

"Ahh smooth."

"You good though? Where's Cam?"

"Just dropped her off at work."

"Oh cool. You mind telling me where she works? She asked me about repairing a Mac computer and I wanted to see if she got it on her."

"Ah no biggie."

She pulled out an old receipt from her wallet and took a pen that was in her shirt pocket and wrote down the address for me.

"Aye, thanks a million."

"Yeah bro. Remember to hit me up. Shit, would you like to go out? Me and my girl going to a club Friday night and we don't wanna third wheel Cam, it would be so dope if you could come as one of our homies."

"Aiite, bet. I have your number I'll hit you up."

"Bless." She laughed and dapped me up before walking off into the direction of the coffee shop.

The address on the paper suggested that Cam worked a couple blocks from here. The street she works on had a flower shop and I decided to stop by and pick up a few daisies or some shit.

I stopped at the flower shop and asked for an arrangement. It had white daisies, lavender stems and purple hyacinths which I found out meant forgiveness.
