It was Monday which meant that I had my regular scheduled appointment with Dr Stone. I was on time as always but she wasn't which was odd. She's never not on time. She knows how I feel about being on time and she also knows how I feel about waiting. I was getting upset when her secretary came and advised me that she wouldn't be in today and she apologizes for not notifying me prior. I shook my head and left the office. I was running short on meds so she needed to prescribe more. I shot her a text letting her know that we'd have to meet during the week because what I have left won't last until next week.
I had a whole hour before I was due to go into work so I decided to stop by that Liza girl's place. I was shocked to see that if my mom hadn't gotten herself locked up then we would've been neighbors. I parked in the driveway and hopped out walking up to the front door to knock.
"Hey!" The door opened revealing Liza with her dread loose in a light blue crop top and jeans shorts.
"Hi." I smiled back admiring her body.
She opened the door to let me and I stepped pass leaving my sneakers at the door.
"Oh you didn't have to do that." She said.
"My bad, that's how my moms raised me." I had on socks so I wasn't too bothered about it.
She smiled and started walking towards the back of the house and down some steps, I stayed put since she never suggested that I followed her.
"Come along!" She shouted from the stairs and I started walking to catch up to her. The lights were dim and the walls were painted in burgundy. It had a spiritual vibe, I could smell incense burning and probably some candles too. Once we got to the bottom of the stairs I saw that she led me into a little den.
"Your place is dope." I complimented her space.
"Thanks. I requested the basement since it was more private." She replied.
"So where's the computer? After looking at it then I'd recommend what needs to be changed."
The desktop was opposite from her bed on a low rise computer stand. I asked for the light so that I could be able to see better. After turning on the lights I saw that the setup and it was looking pretty good. She had LED lights and a cooling fan. I complimented the setup and went to look at the CPU.
"Okay, so you could definitely do with an upgrade. I would recommend changing the motherboard too if it is that you want to upgrade the processor and the graphics card. The fans are running pretty good. You could get another board which runs LED to keep your system lit." I said turning off my flashlight and rising from the position that I was on my knees.
"Thanks a lot! Does your store sell those components?"
"No but you could order them online."
"Okay, can I offer you a drink?"
Can't hurt can it? "Sure."
"It's gonna be tea, it's chamomile." She whispered walking over to a kettle pouring its contents into a cup.
"It's already sweetened." She said.
I took a sip of it while listening to her explain the benefits of drinking chamomile tea.
"You look like you could use a massage." She said and led me to sit on her bed. First of all, ain't no motherfucker can sit on my bed in the clothes they went out in but hey different strokes for different folks. I was really enjoying this massage and I was feeling extremely relaxed. My shoulders were loosening up, it must be the tea. She did say that it should make me calm.
