Kim's POV

I wake up to the sound of my alarm and start to get ready for school. I can't believe I found out that Adrien is Chat Noir but I can't tell anyone. This was my chance to beat Alix in a challenge. She's won all of our challenges and bets recently except for yesterday when she crashed into Marinette, but when I finally have the chance to win I can't tell anyone. This would have been the perfect opportunity to find out if she likes me too. I've liked her ever since I was akumatized. She helped me to get over Chloé, but she will never like me as more than a friend. I think she likes stupid Tomato Head. They hang out a lot in the art room.

"Kim, breakfast is ready," My mom says from outside my room snapping me out of my thoughts. I quickly change into my usual red hoodie, blue sweatpants and red and white running shoes before heading to the dining room. I sit down at the table and my mom gives me a plate with an omelet and some bacon. I scarf it down saying a quick 'thank you' before finishing getting ready and leaving the house. I run to Minnie Meg's house and knock on her door. She answers after a few seconds.

"Ready to lose again?" I ask.

"I've told you this a hundred times Hercules, I'm not a mirror." She says calmly walking past me and putting on her skates.

"Ready," I say as we both get into our prep stances.

"Set," She says eyes focusing ahead of her.

"Go!" We both shout, racing off as fast as we can. I run down the sidewalk as fast as I can, determined to beat her. Alix would never like a loser. Soon the school comes into view. I see Max waiting for us ready to tell us who won if it's close race. Alix and I are neck in neck as we approach Max. We come to a stop in front of him and look to him for the final verdict. "Alix won this one," Max says.

"Yes!" Alix cheers jumping up in the air. "Told ya you wouldn't win again!"

"Yeah, but I'm still going to win our superhero challenge," I sat wishing more than ever I could tell her who Chat Noir is.

"Whatever you need to tell yourself," Alix says smirking.

"Out of my way!" Chloe says pushing Alix to the ground.

"What did you do that for!" I yell at her, helping Alix up.

"My Adrikins is going to be here soon and she was in my way. Your lucky I didn't get her dad fired for ruining my morning." She says walking to Adrien's limo that just pulled up to the school. Adrien gets out of the car just to be attacked by Chloe.

"Adrikins! You wouldn't believe what these filthy peasants did to me!" She screeches trying to kiss him.

"Chloe, first they aren't filthy peasants. They are my friends and second I have a girlfriend so stop trying to kiss me."

"B-but I'm your girlfriend!" Chloe says stomping her foot on the ground.

"No your not, Marinette is." Adrien says walking over to where Marinette who had just arrived was and wrapping his arm around her waist.

"Ridiculous! Utterly ridiculous!" Chloe says stomping away with her nose in the air with Sabrina quickly following.

"Marinette!" Alya yells walking over to her best friend with a glint in her eye that would make anyone want to run away as fast as possible. Before Alya gets there the bell rings signaling us to head to class.

"Talk about saved by the bell," Alix says.

"Yeah, I do not want to be Marinette right now." I say before walking over to Adrien who is walking to class with Marinette.
