Chapter 26

 Dani woke up to a light snoring coming from beside her. She opened her eyes and looked over, seeing Justin peacefully sleeping with his mouth lazily open and his hair tousled like a beautiful crazy mess. Suddenly, Justin's soft snoring sharpened for a split second, causing him to wake from his own snore. Dani covered her mouth with her hand to keep the laughter from escaping her lips, amused by Justin's sleepy expression as he opened his eyes.

"Good morning, Beautiful", Justin said with a lopsided grin. Dani almost visibly swooned at hearing his gruff morning voice, but she held it in, wanting to cherish this moment for what it was.

"Morning sleepy head", Dani teased. She leaned over and gave him a quick peck on the lips. "Sleep well?"

"Well yeah, I was pooped after last night!" Justin smirked. Dani lightly slapped him on the chest, her smile betraying her as it made its appearance on her face. "I'm just kidding! Don't shoot, don't shoot! I slept way better than I do without you next to me."

"Oh yeah?" Dani asked.

"Plus you're not that bad to wake up next to", Justin winked Dani's way. Dani just rolled her eyes at him.

"Speak for yourself, I usually don't like to wake up to the sound of snoring!" Dani said with a straight face, causing Justin's face to drop immediately. "Hah! Gotcha!"

"Oh you little..." Justin said as he attacked Dani with kisses before tickling her. Dani laughed until she was almost crying, surrendering to him before she ended up peeing her pants, or well the lack there of.

"Do you have to go to work?" Dani whined, not wanting him to leave so soon.

"Unfortunately, and even worse I've got a new client to meet this afternoon. Apparently she's some famous porn-star who wants to sue a guy that she slept with for recording them and selling the sex-tape without her knowledge."

"That sounds... interesting?" Dani said curiously. She felt a ping of jealousy from knowing that Justin was going to be in the presence of a porn-star since that's basically every guy's fantasy. She didn't want to let him know that she was feeling jealous though, so she just kept quiet about it.

Justin climbed out of the bed and untangled himself from Dani, now having to get dressed to go back to his house and get properly ready for work. Dani just watched him, admiring the way his muscles flexed as he put his clothes on. Is she supposed to be this turned on watching him add layers? Shouldn't she only get turned on as his clothes come off? Those thoughts caused her to remember the previous night and how quickly he undressed after she told him she wanted to make love to him.

"Did you hear me Baby?" Justin said, waving his hand in front of Dani's face, trying to get her attention. Pulling her out of her flashback, Dani blinked quickly realizing that Justin was talking to her.

"I'm sorry, what was that?" Dani flushed.

"I said that we can start the Daniel case process tonight when I come over, if you would like?" Justin asked hesitantly, not wanting to push her.

"Oh yeah, okay that's fine."

"Do you have any plans for today?" Justin asked while he sat down to put his shoes on.

"Yeah, I'm actually going to try to find a job. This place isn't going to pay for itself", Dani laughed.

"Well, if you need any help just let me know. That goes for the job and the apartment", Justin said as he kissed Dani's forehead.

Dani got up and pulled her nearby robe around her body so that she wasn't just walking around nude, however from the look on Justin's face she could tell he was disappointed that she wasn't. She walked him to the door and kissed him good bye. "I love you, have a good day at work!"

"I love you, Beautiful. Good luck with everything today, I can't wait to see you later." He kissed her, then playfully smacked her butt. Dani, to nobody's surprise, blushed a bright pink color.
