Shannon and Dani talked over what to do about Dani's situation for the next hour, concluding that the best option would be to charge Daniel with sexual harassment in the workplace. Dani now just needed to bring it up to Justin to get his input as well, although his input was probably a bit more important since he is the legal expert. Dani called Justin so that she could see if he would come back over tonight, even if he had just been there that morning.
"Hey Beautiful", Justin said sweetly as he answered the phone, making Dani smile ear to ear at just the sound of his voice.
"Hey, I hope I'm not interrupting anything", Dani laughed nervously.
"Nope, besides I'd rather talk to you than do this paperwork any day of the week."
"Oh well paperwork is probably a very important part of your job, or at least I can only imagine it is. Anyways, I wanted to see if you would come over tonight? I think I've decided what I want to do about the situation", Dani said.
"Dinner first?" Justin asked, smiling through the phone.
"As long as it's nothing fancy, yes."
"So McDonalds again?" Justin laughed.
"That sounds perfect!" Dani exclaimed, laughing along with Justin.
"I'll be at your place with dinner around eight, okay Baby?"
"Looking forward to it", Dani said shyly. "See you then."
Dani hung up the phone, not even fighting the smile on her face anymore. She was excited to see Justin again. She wondered if this feeling of excitement over seeing him would ever go away, however she hoped it wouldn't and couldn't really imagine it going away any time soon. Dani headed to her bathroom so that she could take a shower, she wanted to wash off all the anxiety her trip to Beans & Peeps had caused earlier. She played some music, opting for some classic love songs, and sang along at the top of her lungs. Dani had never been the type to like love songs, but then again a lot of the time she didn't really understand them. She had never felt the way most love songs described, and now she finally got it. She was happy Justin was able to show her what love songs are really about.
Her shower was long and the water was hot, letting all of her muscles relax. Once Dani was out of the shower and dressed, she felt a lot better than she had previously. She didn't want to let what Daniel did to her change her, she knew she was stronger than that. She also really didn't want to let it affect her relationship with Justin, she knew it had hurt him earlier when she had pulled away from him. It hurt her too, but at that point she had just not been ready in any way. She was past that point now, or at least she felt like she was. Dani wanted nothing more than to see Justin and be close to him right now.
Eight o'clock rolled around and just as promised, Justin was knocking on the door. Dani quickly opened the door, for a second not knowing if she was more hungry for the food Justin was holding, or for the stunning man standing in front of her, who by the way was flashing her his dazzling, perfect smile that made Dani swoon every time. She let Justin in, following him into the kitchen and digging into her chicken nuggets the second they were set down on the counter. She did her best not to scarf down all ten nuggets, but she couldn't help it after missing out on that meal with Shannon.
"I figured you might be a little extra hungry tonight", Justin started, "So I planned ahead and got you twenty nuggets." He then revealed to her ten more nuggets that had been stashed inside of the bag. Dani eyes widened with excitement.
"Oh my god, I love you!" Dani exclaimed, not really thinking about the words as they spilled out of her mouth. She grabbed the food from Justin's hand, pulling a nugget out as quickly as she could. A moment later, she looked up to see that Justin wasn't eating, he had an unreadable expression on his face. "What?"
"Oh I'm sorry, were you not aware of what you just said?" Justin smirked.
"No?" Dani asked, genuinely confused. Justin laughed, walked over so that he was standing directly in front of Dani, and leaned down so that his lips were level with her ear.
"Let me give you a hint." Justin kissed Dani on the forehead. "I", he followed with kissing her right cheek. "Love", he then kissed her left cheek. "You", he kissed the tip of her nose. "More." Now he kissed her on the lips, letting the emotions melt from his lips to hers. Dani smiled into the kiss, finally realizing what she had said. She had planned on telling Justin she loved him tonight, however she had planned on doing it in a more romantic way. It felt like fireworks were going off inside of her body, she was on cloud nine after hearing those words come out of Justin's mouth. Completely forgetting about her food, Dani began to walk backwards to her bedroom, never letting her lips separate from Justin's.
Dani, now standing next to her bed, began to strip. First, pulling her shirt over her head and unclasping her bra, letting it fall to the ground. Justin watched her undress intently, love and adoration clear as day in his eyes. Dani climbed out of her jeans and underwear. Standing nude, completely bare and vulnerable in front of Justin.
"You are the most beautiful woman I have ever met", Justin said before taking Dani's head into his hands and kissing her passionately. "God, I love you." Dani smiled again.
"And I love you", Dani whispered in between kisses. She reached for Justin's pants, ready to undress him.
Justin pulled away slightly, "Are you sure? We don't have to do this if you aren't ready yet, Baby."
"I'm completely sure. I want to make love to you."
And with that, Justin was naked in under a minute. They fell into bed together, kissing and laughing with each other. Every touch and kiss erupted with passion, pushing Dani closer and closer to the edge without Justin even trying. Both of them often muttering simple "I love you"s and letting their hands wander all over each other, not a inch of skin being skipped. Love songs have nothing on this, Dani thought to herself.
