"So what, clown? Don't tell me you're gonna use her...string her along like you did Dr. Harleen?" Ivy questioned.

"Now Pammy, it's not polite to pry. I've enlisted your help to revive her and that's all you need to know," he grinned, "and I know damn well you can revive her." He leaned forward, covering her mouth with his hand.

She glared at him with all the hate in the world. She knew he'd brought her to use her but to ask her to do something like this...
It's not like she didn't want to but it wasn't a sure thing, and she shuddered to think what the clown would end up doing with the poor girl thereafter.

"Now," he rasped, "what'dya say?" He asked, removing his hand to hear her response.

After a few seconds, she knew she was stuck, and she knew she would want to bring her back to life regardless. She sighed and turned away from the Joker.

"Tell your useless lackey to make a right on Bay Bridge Road and drive down the private driveway. That's where my greenhouse is." She spat with all the hate in the world.

"That's my girl! You heard her Frosty! Step on it!" He laughed out in delight, completely forgetting about the dead woman before his feet.

It didn't take long for them to arrive. The joker observed the beauty of the exterior of the greenhouse. Roses, tulips, daffodils, among other flowers were blooming in the dead of night. There was life here.
For a second he felt at peace but his mind wouldn't allow it for long. The doors to the van opened and he jumped out behind ivy, who led the group to the bowels of the greenhouse.

"Lay her down here. Strip her of all her clothes," Ivy commanded.

The men looked around at one another for several seconds before ivy sighed and stepped to the table, ripping open Scarlett's clothes. The girl now lay entirely naked.
Her skin was white, her lips blue. Her body stiff.
The Joker couldn't help but run his eyes over her perfect naked figure, she was breathtakingly beautiful despite being deceased.

Ivy stepped back towards her own table, where flasks and tubes of different sizes were placed. She began mixing concoctions and poured them into several tubes.

"First of all, before we move forward, I'm gonna need you all to drink these." She said as she handed each of the men tubes.

"You too, clown," she said annoyed. He looked suspiciously at her but then smirked and downed the contents of the tube quickly down his throat.

"You'd know better than to poison me, plant." He smirked.

"Well, that would be too easy. It's actually an antidote. My greenhouse is extremely toxic and if the antidote isn't taken within your first 5 minutes here, you'd die a slow, painful death. So you're welcome, clown." Ivy replied, annoyed.

She began to mix different liquids into a tube and shook it vigorously. It took over half an hour between incubation and treatment. The Joker had shooed off his men to wait outside and keep an eye out, out of sheer paranoia.

Ivy was too distracted as she worked meticulously on the task at hand, and didn't even notice the men were gone. She had even completely forgotten about the clowns presence until he growled.

"How much longer?" He asked in irritation.

Seconds later, ivy held up a test tube with a thick, green viscous liquid. "Here. We inject this into her system. It'll take a few minutes but we should see motor function." She explained as she began to inject the substance.

"And then..." joker asked as he looked down at the liquid filling her veins.

"She should come to in a few hours. Of course that is assuming we weren't too late." Ivy said ominously.

There was silence for several seconds as they observed the body, still frozen on the table. But they noticed a slight pink tinge to her skin. No longer was it chalk white.

Ivy's hand travelled to Scarlett's wrist and she closed her eyes, focusing on a pulse. A huge smile overtook her face when she felt it.

"It's faint, but we have a pulse." Ivy sighed in content.

The joker looked excitedly down and grinned widely at Ivy, walking up to the body on the table.

He also checked her pulse and couldn't help but laugh victoriously. After confirming a pulse, he picked her up bridal style and attempted to walk out.

"Wait! Where do you think you're going clown?!" Ivy asked as she stood in his way.

"You've done your part, think of your freedom as payment." He grinned and walked past her, carrying Scarlett's naked body out of the greenhouse and into the van.

"Step on it."

With that, ivy watched as the van disappeared into the darkness of night. She muttered profanities under her breath at the disapproval of it all but she knew she had very little power next to the clown. At least for now...

***********

"Where are we going boss?" Frost asked.

"I think you already know where I want to go, Frosty," he replied in a raspy voice, his eyes locked on Scarlett's body.

Yeah, Frost knew exactly where he wanted to be right now, the deranged clown wouldn't give up his plight to revive this woman. Even though he had. And he'd never question his boss no matter how sick or twisted the scheme at hand was. But for the first time Frost had no idea what was happening. His boss always filled him in with info but now it was as unknown to Frost as it is to the person reading this.

Once the van came to a halt, Joker wasted no time climbing out and carrying Scarlett bridal style into the building. He never once looked back to any of his men. They knew at this point, all they had to do was wait.

The Joker kept his grip firm on her naked body as he climbed up several flights of stairs with ease. His body was muscular enough and his stamina was there. When he reached his goal, he looked down at her face and couldn't help but feel a tingle run down his spine.

He had power over this woman. She would be his.
Even though his plans were far bigger, he had only one goal at the moment.
To revive her completely, to immerse her fully into him. His world.
So then he could find out all of her secrets, the ones plaguing him.

Who was she?
Where did she come from?
Why did she look so familiar to him?
They had encountered one another before but these questions were left unanswered, even in her file stolen from Arkham.

Not even she could remember.

"Let's see if a little bit of acid can get those..juices flowing," he grinned and stepped to the edge of the platform. Leaning into her, he whispered.

"You will live for me. And I decide when you die for me," and with that, he dropped her body down, watching it land into one of the vats.
