I wake up in Stefan's bed the next morning. Shit, my aunt is going to kill me, but luckily they don't know we're actually together, so they won't suspect anything. As I stop freaking out in my head, my mind can't help but travel to what happened last night.
He told me he felt something for me, and I told him the same thing. Why would I do that? He's obviously gonna tell Stefan. Stefan disturbes me from my thoughts as he moves next to me.
"Elena?" he groans out, stretching his arms. "Still here." he finishes stretching, before flashing a smile at me, "Good." he sits up, leaning in and kissing me softly. I kiss him back, leaning into it. I can't help but think of Damon right now, I shouldn't be, but I do it anyway, because I wish it was him kissing me right now.
He pulls away, pressing his forehead to mine,
"Want some breakfast?" he asks, and I nod, "Sure, what are you making me?" I smile, putting my hand on his cheek, "How about pancakes?" he asks with a smile."Sounds perfect." I smile then pressing a kiss to his lips. He stands up from the bed, picking me up into his arms. I squeal, "Stefan! Put me down!" He shakes his head, carrying me downstairs. He sets me down on the kitchen counter, placing a kiss to my cheek before rounding up stuff to make pancakes.
I watch Stefan as he maneuvers around the kitchen , making the pancakes for us. But then Damon walks in, and our eyes lock. My breath suddenly becomes unsteady, and he stops in his tracks. "Uh good morning everybody, whatcha making?"
He walks further into the kitchen, trying not to look at me anymore. Everything just felt super awkward now. "He's making pancakes." I say, hopping off the counter, "Why did you want some?"
"If your offering, sure." he smiles slightly, still not making eye contact with me. I sigh, and Stefan speaks up, "I'd love it if you joined us Damon." he says smiling.
I have to give Stefan credit, he was trying with his brother, even though is they get close, it could backfire on me. Stefan puts the pancakes on the table, and we all sit down. I lock eyes with Damon, who is across from me.
I grab a couple pancakes, digging into them immediately. I let Stefan and Damon talk the whole time, because I really don't want to talk to Damon right now.
"Stefan, I should probably, head home, my aunt is probably freaking out because I didn't tell her I was staying." He nods, "Can I see you later?" I nod, standing up from the table.
"Of course." I lean down and kiss him on the lips. "I'll text you." I grab my things, before venturing out to my car. On my way home, I blast music, trying to get my mind off Damon.
As I get home, I explain to my aunt where I was, leaving the part out where me and Stefan are dating. I spend most the day with her and my brother, before Stefan texts me.
"Hey, are you going to come over tonight?" I read, "I planned on it, but it's storming, and I hate driving in storms, so maybe some other time?" I hit send and wait for a reply.
"I know that, so Damon is coming to get you, I'll see you soon." As I read that, I instantly freak out, Damon is getting me. I don't want to be alone with him, but looks like i'm gonna have to.
I watch out my window for Damon's car, and I see it pull up in front of my house, that was fast. I run outside into the ran, opening the door and climbing into his car. He sets off down the road, knowing I probably don't want to talk to him.
On our drive to their house, we were silent for a good ten minutes before it was getting hard to see out the window, and it was getting harder to drive.
Damon starts to lose control of the car, and we end up in the ditch. My head gets smacked into the dashboard, Damon's onto the steering wheel. I fall back into my seat, rubbing my forehead.
