Chapter One

Skyler's P.O.V.

        "No mum! I'm not going to live with Liam! I refuse to leave!" I screamed at my mother. I got caught shoplifting for the third time yesterday. Apparently my mum is finally done dealing with my shit. Not that I really blame her. I've been absolutely terrible, I'll admit it. With that being said, I understand why she's sending me off to go live with my brother who I haven't been close to since when we were younger.

        My brother is Liam Payne. Yes, THE Liam Payne of One Direction. You'd think having a famous sibling would be great. It isn't for me whatsoever. It's just another thing that puts me in his shadow and shows how much of a screw up I am.

        "Listen Sky, I know you don't want to go. I just can't do this anymore, sweetie. It's too much for me. One day you'll understand." my mum tried to explain this to me nicely. She was always such a sweet person. She deserves a much better daughter that she could be proud of, not me, all I do is disappoint her.

        "Mum, I understand. I really do. I'm sorry I am such a screw up. You deserve so much better than me."

        "No, Sky. You've just gotten off track and I'm hoping Li can help you figure it all out. I don't want any other daughter. I just want my old Skyler back. I love you sweetie and I'm going to miss you. But you better get going. I told Li you'd be there at one." my mum could barely hold back the tears.

        "Okay, bye I guess."

        After we shared a quick hug, I went out and got into my Beetle. I don't think Liam can actually help me. We've tried therapy and everything. I just can't seem to change. One day it seems like I'm doing great, then the next I'm back with my friends getting high and drinking into oblivion. So we'll have to just see how this will go.

Okay. So this is my first fanfic. I don't know how good it is. I hope it's alright. I have really good ideas for the story and I hope whoever reads it likes it. So... yeah. Enjoy, I guess. xx :)
