Grayson's POV

After dropping my parents of at their hotel we were going to head over to a graduation party Raya was going to.

I wasn't really in the mood for a party since Mavis hadn't called me back all day, I wonder what she was doing?

"Actually, I need you to get something from the apartment for me" Ethan said as he pulled into the apartment complex.

"What? No, you go" I scoffed. I was not going to walk all the way upstairs just to come back here.

"Will you quit being a such a baby and go upstairs to get my charger?" He shouted and I rolled my eyes before getting out of the car.

Once I was out he sped off leaving me confused, I tired calling his cell but he sent it to voicemail.

Tired of his shit I walked upstairs with my shoulders slumped. Today was supposed to be a great day, it was. But now I'm just bummed.

I opened the door freezing in my place when I saw a bunch of candles lit around the apartment.

Confused, I walked in closing the door behind me setting my keys down on the side table.

"Uhm, hello?" I asked taking off my jacket.

"Hey" Mavis appeared from the kitchen with a small smile.

My mood completely flipped from sad to a mixture of happiness and shock.

"M-Mavis-."

"Before you say anything, I just want to get this little speech out" she said before taking a deep breath. "I love you, Grayson, and I don't use that word lightly. What you did to me all those years ago stung, bad. But somehow I've found a way to forgive you and I've missed you so much. So I've been thinking about what you've said about me moving here with you"

My heart was beating so fast, she was going to move here with me! I can ask her right now!

"Baby, let me just-." I tried again but she cut me off.

"Let me finish, please?" She said stepping closer to me, I thought for a second before nodding. "It's seems like a lot but it's not like we're getting married, right?" She chuckled.

I had to force a chuckle as well so mask my disappointment.

"I would like to get back together and move in, if you'll have me, because Grayson...I love you. More than I've ever loved anyone, these past four years apart have helped me realize how much I need you, so...what do you want to do?" She asked looking up at me with her big beautiful eyes.

What did I want to do? I wanted to take her right here, right now. So I grabbed her face roughly but gentle enough that it didn't hurt. I pressed my lips to hers kissing her softly.

I pulled away looking into her eyes with a huge smile, gosh I am so grateful for this woman before me.

"Did you really cuddle with Ethan while I was away?" Mavis asked as I played with her fingers.

We laid in bed completely naked after two long rounds of passionate sex, I'll admit I'm tired but I'm afraid that if I fall asleep and I wake up this would all have been a dream.

"I tried but all he did was elbow me in the ribs to shoo me away" I chuckled making her giggle.

We were silent for a couple seconds while she traced my abs with her fingers......wait

"....Did you and Ethan plan this?" I asked looking down at her.

"Yeah, I called him a week before this and planned this out" she sat up. That son of a bitch. "I'm starved, we should order some take out"
