Harry, Ron, and Hermione were sitting on the front porch of Ron and Hermione's house. It was a clear day, with warm weather. The trio were all sipping glasses of lemonade, and waiting for Ginny to get back from practice. As much as they all loved their big family, it was sometimes nice to just have time to the three of them.
"Y'know, sometimes I miss Hogwarts," Ron said randomly. Hermione laughed at Ron's abruptness.
"So do I, sometimes," she responded. "We had some great times there."
"Yeah, we did. Like the time we were talking in the common room after I kissed Cho. Remember Hermione's 'emotional range of a teaspoon' comment?" Harry grinned. The other two laughed.
"I hope you don't think I still have the emotional range of a teaspoon, 'Mione," Ron smiled.
"No. You've got the emotional range of a tablespoon now, love," Hermione laughed and pecked Ron on the cheek. The trio lounged on the porch for a while, sipping lemonade and remembering good times they had at Hogwarts.
"Oh, remember when Harry snuck out to Hogsmeade with us, under the cloak?" Hermione laughed.
"Yeah, and when he hit Malfoy in the head with a snowball?" Ron grinned.
"I forgot how much fun we had when we weren't fighting Voldemort," Harry said.
About an hour later, Harry, Ron, and Hermione were still talking. Hermione abruptly stood up.
"Oh! I've got a meeting at the Ministry soon! I should go, but I'll see you guys later," Hermione gathered her stuff and Apparated away. After a few moments, Ron turned to Harry.
"Hey, I'm thinking about proposing to Hermione," Ron told him with a nervous smile.
"Really? That's great, mate!" Harry grinned.
"Yeah, well, I'm not sure how to do it. Or where. Or when," Ron replied nervously. "What do you think she'd like?"
"I think you know exactly what she wants, Ron. Just be yourself. And Hermione's never been one for a big fancy display, so I don't think you'd have to worry about that."
"Thanks, mate," Ron grinned at his friend. Harry and Ron talked for a while, and soon Ginny arrived back from practice.
"Hey, guys. Where's Hermione?" she asked, walking up to the porch.
"Hermione left for a meeting," Harry replied. "You ready to go home, Gin? You look tired."
"I am tired. And yes, I'm ready to go home. Practice was long today," she sighed tiredly. Her long red hair was windswept, and her face looked flushed.
"That's fine, love. Teddy's at Andromeda's, so we can have some time to relax tonight," Harry said, pulling Ginny in for a hug. Ginny smiled comfortably.
"Perfect. I could use some relaxation time. I'm sure you could, too."
"Well, if you two are both leaving, I have some paperwork that I've been putting off for a while that should probably get done," Ron pointed out. Harry and Ginny laughed.
"I'm sure that will be fun, Ron. Ginny and I are gonna go home, but we'll see you later." With that said, the content couple Apparated back to Grimmauld Place for a night of relaxation.

The next morning, Harry and Ginny were getting ready to pick Teddy up from Andromeda's.
"I think we should take Teddy out somewhere. Diagon Alley, or something," Ginny told Harry. Harry nodded in response.
"I think that's a great idea. It'll give him a chance to get out of the house a bit," Harry replied. Ginny smiled and kissed him on the cheek. The two the Apparated to Andromeda's to pick up their godson.
With a sharp 'pop', Harry and Ginny arrived at the front door. The pop must have been all Andromeda needed to hear, because she opened the door and let them inside.
"Harry, Ginny! Teddy is in the kitchen, I'll let him know you're here," Andromeda greeted them with a smile.
A minute later, Teddy walked out of the kitchen and into the hallway. He still looked a bit tired, but he grinned when he saw Harry and Ginny. The small boy ran over to his godparents and wrapped his arms around them.
"Hey, Ted! How are you?" Ginny smiled as Teddy grinned again, and began to tell them both about his last few days with 'Grandma Andy'.
"And then, we made cookies!" he finished his story dramatically. Ginny laughed and ruffled his blue hair.
"That's great, bud. Hey, Harry and I were thinking about taking you to Diagon Alley today. How do you feel about that?" Ginny asked for Teddy's opinion.
"Yeah! I wanna go to Diagon Alley!" he responded enthusiastically.
"Great. Let's get your things, then we can leave," Harry told him. Teddy giggled and, with the help of Harry and Ginny, collected his things and packed them up. The three of them Apparated to Diagon Alley.
When they got there, it was a sudden burst of festivity and color. Shortly after the war, Diagon Alley had begun to restore the positive energy in had carried. And now, four years later, the atmosphere was back to normal.
"Ooh, Teddy, I know a place I think you're going to love," Ginny smiled and led Teddy to Quality Quidditch Supplies. There was a new and shiny broom in the display window, and the store was looking as inviting as ever.
Of course, people were bound to notice that Harry Potter was in the store at some point, so none of them were really surprised when fans started to come up to the group. However, what one little boy said caught their attention.
"Wow! Are you really Ginny Weasley, chaser for the Holyhead Harpies?" the boy looked up at her with wonder in his eyes. Ginny smiled and bent down to his level.
"Yes, I am. And what's your name?"
"My name's Michael. You're my favorite Quidditch player!" Michael said enthusiastically.
"Well, it was very nice meeting you, Michael," Ginny grinned. She realized that when she was talking with Michael, Harry and Teddy had wandered to a different part of the store. She ran to catch up with them.
"Hey, Ted, let's go visit Uncle George at Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes," Harry suggested. Teddy nodded and clapped his hands, so the group made their way to George's shop.
The bell rang as they entered, alerting George that they were here. The shop wasn't very busy at the moment, so George walked straight over to them.
"How's my favorite god-nephew?" George scooped Teddy up in his arms. Teddy giggled happily.
"Hey, George. We're just looking around today. We decided Teddy needed to get out of the house some," Harry said. George grinned back.
"Right you are, Harry. Teddy's a growing boy, he needs his fair share of joke products. Isn't that right, Ted?" Teddy just laughed in response. Harry, Ginny, and Teddy spent another half hour or so at Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes, before saying Goodbye to Uncle George and exploring more parts of Diagon Alley.
"Y'know, Ted, this is Aunt 'Mione's favorite shop," Ginny pointed out as they passed Flourish and Blotts. Teddy looked in awe at the towers of books that lined the display window.
They continued to explore Diagon Alley, but soon it was evening, and time to go home. Teddy was tired from walking all day, and was practically hanging on Harry's shoulder. It had been a fun day, but Teddy needed his rest.
Ginny seemed to notice this, too, because she said "I think we should get him home. It's been a long day." Harry agreed, and they both returned home to tuck Teddy into bed.
A/N: Hi, guys! I'm sorry if this chapter was a bit crappy, but I'm tired, so I'll definitely be going back and rereading this later, to fix some things. Thanks for reading! 💛
