Ginny walked into the kitchen one morning and poured herself a steaming cup of hot coffee. She still was feeling pregnancy symptoms, but the morning sickness had almost gone away. This was a great relief for everyone in the house.

Harry came stumbling tiredly down the stairs a moment later, yawning. He too poured himself a cup of coffee and sat down beside Ginny.

"Morning, Gin. Know what today is?" Harry grinned. Ginny laughed.

"Of course I know what today is, you've been talking about it all week." Today was the day of their Saint Mungo's appointment, or, more importantly, the day Harry and Ginny would find out the gender of their baby.

Harry and Ginny excitedly got ready to go. They had considered bringing Teddy, but they wanted this to be just the two of them. Also, Teddy was with Andromeda, who wanted to see him anyway.

"Almost ready," Ginny said as she put on her coat. "I called off work for this, so we can go tell the rest of the family when we're done."

Harry nodded. "How is work going anyway?"

Ginny had applied to write for the sports section of the Daily Prophet, and she was really enjoying it so far. She had only been working there for a few days, but she loved the atmosphere and the people. And the added benefit that she was writing about Quidditch.

"Work's great. I really enjoy it, actually," she replied. Harry smiled and laced his finger's between Ginny's

"Good. Are you ready to go?" he asked. Ginny nodded. Still holding hands, they Apparated to Saint Mungo's.

The Potters arrived at the hospital with a pop. As soon as they made it to the waiting room, Ginny walked over to the front desk and checked in while Harry found a place to sit down. There were several whispers and points when he sat down, but both he and Ginny were used to that by now.

"Okay, I got us checked in," Ginny grinned as she sat down next to Harry. "I'm so excited."

"So am I, love. I still can't believe we're having a baby." Harry rested his hand on Ginny's abdomen and smiled.

"Potter?" A smiling Healer stood in the doorway of another hallway, ready to lead them to their room. A few people looked up when they heard the name.

"That's us," Ginny grinned as she and Harry followed the Healer to a hospital room.

"Alright, Mrs. Potter, just lay down on the bed there, please." Ginny did as she asked. The Healer turned to the couple. "I'm Healer Mason. It says here you're here to find out your baby's gender, correct?"

"Yes," Ginny said. Healer Mason nodded and smiled pleasantly.

"Perfect. This is a simple process; I'm going to perform a spell. If you stomach glows blue, it's a boy, and pink for a girl. Ready?"

Ginny nodded and reached for Harry's hand. This was it. Healer Mason performed the spell. Ginny glanced down to see a blue glow illuminating her stomach. They were having a boy!

"Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Potter. You're having a boy!"

Ginny beamed. She felt like this was everything she'd ever wanted. She glanced over to Harry, who looked just as happy as she was.

"Would you like to see a picture?" Healer Mason asked. The Potters nodded. She performed a different spell, and a picture showed up on a screen. Ginny's eyes widened. There was her baby boy! Her thoughts were interrupted when the healer spoke again. "How many copies would you like?"

"Two, please," Harry spoke up. One for them and one for Ginny's parents. Healer Mason nodded and gave them two pictures that were smaller versions of the picture on the screen.

"There you go. That's all for today, is there anything else I can help you with?"

"No, thank you." Satisfied, the Healer led them back into the waiting room so they could leave. Harry and Ginny were still extremely happy when they left the hospital. They intertwined their fingers and Apparated back home.

A few hours had passed since Harry and Ginny found out they were having a boy. Harry, Ginny, Ron, and Hermione were all sitting in Ron and Hermione's living room, drinking tea and talking.

"I'm so happy for you two," Hermione smiled as she wrapped her cold fingers around her warm mug of tea. "Have you started thinking about names yet?"

"Not really," Ginny admitted. "We wanted to wait until we knew the gender."

"Well, now would be a good time to brainstorm ideas," Ron shrugged. "'Mione and I can help, if you want." Hermione nodded in agreement.

"Sure, why not?"

Harry and Ginny got to work thinking about baby names. Ron and Hermione also pitched in their own ideas. Between the four of them, they were able to come up with some good ideas. Still, Harry thought something was missing.

"You could name him after someone," Hermione suggested. "Someone who you admire, or care about."

"That's a brilliant idea, 'Mione," Harry grinned. Naming their son after somebody would be perfect, and Ginny seemed to agree. "We could name him James, after my father."

"Oh, Harry..." Ginny wrapped her arms around Harry in a comforting hug. "That would be perfect."

"Now we need a middle name," Ron prompted. Before anyone could say anything, Ginny suggested a name.

"Sirius. If we're naming him after James, it seems only right that we name him after Sirius, too. James Sirius Potter." She spoke with such conviction that it was almost impossible to disagree. And she was right.

"James Sirius Potter," Hermione echoed, smiling softly. "I like that."

"I like that too, Gin. Thank you." There was no need to clarify what Harry was thanking her for. He pulled Ginny in for a quick kiss of appreciation. "I love you."

"I love you, too."

"It really is a great name, mate," Ron remarked. Harry nodded. It was quite the name.

The Potters stayed at Ron and Hermione's for another hour or so, just chatting and spending time with each other. They all had to go into work tomorrow, but there was no denying the happy atmosphere that was surrounding the inside of the house right then.

Harry and Ginny's love for their son was growing every day, and today was a very special one. The Potters loved their son very much, but there was no denying that James Sirius Potter had a big legacy to live up to.
