The afternoon of August 18th was warm and sunny, with clear skies and students crowding the shops, cramming in some last minute summer fun. Harry, Ginny, Ron and Hermione thought it would be a good idea to take Teddy out somewhere, and the group collectively decided on Hogsmeade.

Teddy, who had never tried butterbeer before, was bouncing is his seat at The Three Broomsticks with anticipation. His face lit up when Harry and Ginny came back with butterbeers for everyone. Because it was summer and hot outside, Madam Rosmerta was selling a special kind of cold butterbeer.

"Alright, everyone, here's the butterbeers," Ginny set the glasses down on the table, and everyone reached for one.

"How's it taste, Ted?" Harry grinned at Teddy as he practically dove into his butterbeer.

"Really, really good!" Teddy laughed as Hermione helped him wipe off his butterbeer mustache. The others smiled fondly at Teddy's excitement.

"Well, I'm glad you're enjoying it. Your first butterbeer is always brilliant," Ginny smiled, remembering when she had her first butterbeer all those years ago.

"What shops do you want to go see today, Ted?" Ron asked. Teddy took another gulp of butterbeer before answering.

"I wanna go to the sweets shop," he grinned. "And the joke one, that Uncle George likes."

"We'll be sure to go to those ones first, then," Ginny smiled and kissed him on the forehead.

Once everyone had finished their drinks, they packed up at left The Three Broomsticks to go see some other shops. Near The Three Broomsticks was Zonko's Joke Shop, which had Teddy stop in his tracks to gawk at the joke products in the display window.

"Let's go in there!" Before anyone could stop him, Teddy darted through the doors and into the shop. The adults ran after him, helping him up after he ran into someone and fell.

"You alright, Ted?" Harry asked, holding Teddy in his arms. Teddy nodded.

"I'm glad you're alright, love, but you can't run away from us like that anymore," Ginny said, catching up to Harry and Teddy.

"M'sorry," Teddy apologized. "I was just excited."

"'Course you're excited—it's your first time in Hogsmeade," Ron said, as he and Hermione caught up with the group. "But you still have to be safe, because we don't want you getting hurt."

"Hey, Teddy, why don't we look around now that we're in the shop?" Hermione asked as Harry set Teddy down. He nodded excitedly.

Teddy laughed and pointed at different products as he let Uncle Ron and Aunt Hermione lead him around the shop. Once he had his fill of pranks, they met up with Harry and Ginny at the entrance of the store.

"Where to next?" Hermione asked. "Honeydukes?"

"Yes!" Teddy laughed and he let the adults take him to the shop full of sweets. Once they were in, they were greeted with the sweet aroma of chocolate and and other sweets, which just made Teddy even more excited.

"Merlin, I haven't been here in a while," said Ginny, looking around at the aisles of sweets.

"Neither have I," Hermione replied. "It brings back memories."

Harry and Ron agreed with this statement—there was definitely some nostalgia being in a shop that they haven't visited since their teenage years. Their attention, however, was drawn back to Teddy, when he came running back up to them, his arms full of various sweets.

"Harry, Ginny! Uncle Ron, Auntie 'Mione, can I have them?"

"Well, maybe not all of them, Ted. But you'll definitely need the chocolate frogs," Hermione said, helping Teddy unload some of the treats from his arms.

"You also should keep the Cauldron Cakes," Ron suggested. Once they decided which things Teddy should keep and which ones he should put back, they paid and left the store.

The rest of their day in Hogsmeade was spent showing Teddy around different shops—ones that they liked growing up, to ones that they didn't like growing up, to what they considered to be the best shop in the village. Once they were all to worn out to continue, the Apparated home for some rest.

The front door of Grimmauld Place was opened quietly, as to not disturb Teddy, who was curled up in Ginny's arms. The day had been long, but fun, and all that walking had definitely worn Teddy out.

"Let's go tuck him in," Ginny whispered. Harry nodded, and they walked up the stairs to Teddy's bedroom. Harry and Ginny gently set him on the bed and pulled the blankets over him, before kissing him goodnight and closing the door behind them

"Hey, Gin?" Harry said, as soon as they got back downstairs.

"Yeah, love?" Ginny yawned. Harry walked over to where she was standing, and enveloped her in a hug.

"We're getting married in a month."

"We are getting married in a month." Even though Ginny's voice was calm, Harry could still notice the smile on her lips and the spark in her eyes. Her flaming red hair was coming out of its messy bun, framing in waves around her face. Her chocolate eyes were sparkling with happiness, and they were so beautiful—

"Harry?" Ginny's voice broke his thoughts.

"What—oh, sorry, Gin," he stammered.

"Dazzled by my beauty?" Ginny smirked, sarcastically.

"Of course I am." Ginny laughed and pecked Harry on the cheek. Before they could talk anymore, they heard a loud pecking on the window. Harry opened the window to reveal an owl, with a letter in tow.

"Be quiet, owl, my godson's sleeping!" Harry shushed the owl and took the letter from its claws. He opened the letter, and his face fell as he started to read it.

"What's wrong? Is everything okay?" Ginny asked, coming up behind him to read the letter.

"Everything's fine. I just have to go to work," Harry shook his head.

"Right now?" Ginny asked, appalled. Harry nodded, and sighed.

"Yeah, right now." Over the past few weeks, Auror Roberts had been calling them to the office at random, and inopportune, times to work on the case. "Don't worry, Gin, it's nothing serious. I shouldn't be gone long."

Harry kissed Ginny one more time before grabbing his wand and heading out the door. Ginny waited around downstairs for a few more minutes, before going upstairs to get ready for bed.

Teddy was laying down in his bed, thinking about the day he had in Hogsmeade. It had been so much fun with Harry, Ginny, Uncle Ron, and Aunt 'Mione today. Teddy smiled as he recalled all they fun places they had went. His last thought before falling asleep was that he had the coolest family ever.
