Harry's plan, as it turned out, wasn't as easy to execute as the Aurors thought it would be. Although there was a possibility that nobody was in the warehouse at all, Harry wanted everyone to be prepared for any situation.
It was the morning after Harry suggested the warehouse as a possible hiding place, and Harry and the rest of the Aurors were getting ready to search the premises. The more Harry thought about it, the more this particular area made sense. He just hoped he was correct.
"Alright, everyone, listen up!" The Aurors paused what they were doing to pay attention to Harry. "This warehouse is our best and only option right now. There's a high chance that Roberts will be there. We need to be ready for him."
The team of Aurors he had gathered for this mission nodded in understanding. Harry, satisfied with the response, began to give everyone instructions for the mission.
Once everyone knew what they were doing and where they were going, Harry led them to the warehouse.
The weather was cool and clear, as it was still early morning. The rising sun showed the dew sparkling on the grass. The warehouse itself looked more like a pile of debris then an actual building, with red paint peeling off the old wood paneling and musty windows sporting cracks.
"Ready, everyone?"
The team gave a nod of confirmation. With that, Harry led everyone quietly inside.
The inside of the warehouse didn't look much better than the outside. Creaky wooden floorboards and ragged old furniture was all the place had to offer.
After a few minutes of searching for any sign of people, Harry turned the corner into a separate room. Two chairs were facing the doorway, and inside were Ron and Hermione. Harry glanced at his friends for signs of harm. Apart from tousled hair, dirty clothes, and a few small scratches, they appeared unharmed.
Hermione's eyes widened as soon as she saw who was walking into the room, but Ron appeared to be asleep. She leaned over as best as she could with restraints on her wrists, and shook Ron awake.
"Ronald! Ron, wake up, it's Harry!" she whispered shrilly. Ron's eyes snapped open and he sat bolt upright. Harry and the other Aurors helped Ron and Hermione untie themselves. As soon as they were able to stand, Harry pulled them into a fierce hug.
"It's great to see you guys."
"Great to see you, too, mate," Ron grinned. Harry took another look around the warehouse.
"Where's Roberts?" he asked, still looking around.
"He's not here," Hermione explained. "He was here the first night, but we haven't seen him since. He just left other people to guard us." Harry was dumbfounded.
Roberts was not here.
Noticing Harry's worried and alarmed expression, Hermione continued, "It's okay, Harry. Do you really think I would have sat here for days without getting any information? I overheard Roberts and one of the guards talking. I know where he's going."
Harry breathed a sigh of relief. "Brilliant, 'Mione, you're brilliant."
Now that he knew Ron and Hermione were safe, the main priority was getting them out of there and safely home. He and the Aurors quickly Apparated Ron and Hermione back home before anyone in the warehouse noticed they were gone.
As soon as they arrived back at Ron and Hermione's house, Harry started to speak. "You guys go inside, shower, eat, whatever you need to do. I'll tell the family that you're here."
"Thank you, Harry," Hermione smiled. "But what about—"
"We'll talk later, 'Mione," he told her. Hermione nodded. Harry turned to both Ron and Hermione and said, "Come to the Burrow whenever you're ready. Everyone'll be excited to see you."
With that, Harry Apparated back to Grimmauld Place.

"Harry! How did the mission go?" Ginny greeted Harry as soon as he made it in the door. "Did you find them?"
"Hey, Gin. We found Ron and Hermione—they're at home cleaning up. They said they'd go to the Burrow when they were done." Despite the good news, Harry's face looked dejected.
"But?" Ginny prompted, wanting more information.
"But Roberts wasn't there," Harry replied, frowning.
"What do you mean? How could Roberts just not be there?" Ginny exclaimed, throwing her arms up in frustration. Harry took this opportunity to explain the situation to his wife.
"So 'Mione knows where he's going?" She asked, when Harry was done explaining. Harry nodded. Ginny nodded slowly, taking all the information in. "Wow."
"Yeah. Now we've just got to find Roberts. Hopefully put him in jail this time," he muttered darkly. Before he could talk any more, Teddy came running into the hallway.
"Harry! Did you find Uncle Ron and Aunt 'Mione?" Teddy asked, his eyes wide.
"Yes, Teddy, we did. Actually, we're going over to the Burrow right now so we can see them." Harry and Ginny helped Teddy get ready to go, and they put on their coats. Ginny and Teddy, who hadn't seen Ron and Hermione yet, were excited to go.
As soon as they were all ready, Harry and Ginny Apparated to the Burrow.

When the Potters got to the Burrow, Mrs. Weasley answered the door. She quickly let them inside.
"Come in, dears. I heard about Ron and Hermione! Are they okay?" she asked anxiously.
"Ron and Hermione are fine, Mum. They're at their house, getting ready to come here." Ginny assured her.
Mrs. Weasley nodded. "Good, good. Let's gather everyone here. Oh, they'll be so relieved!" As Mrs. Weasley scurried off, Harry, Ginny and Teddy were joined by Mr. Weasley.
"Hey, Harry and Ginny. Hi, Teddy. Come sit down while we wait for everyone to get here." The Potters sat down as they explained the day's events to a very curious Mr. Weasley. While they were talking, more Weasleys started to file in.
The Potters were interrupted by shouts of "Ron! Hermione!" as Ron and Hermione walked in the door. They looked much better than they had in the warehouse, with clean clothes and hair. Ron and Hermione were accepting hugs and greetings from the family.
"Oh, dears, it's so good to see you! Are you alright?" Mrs. Weasley was checking Ron and Hermione for any noticeable damage, tugging at Ron's collar and patting down Hermione's hair.
"We're fine, Mum. It's good to see you all, too," Ron grinned as he pulled Ginny in for a hug. Hermione followed suit.
Once all the greetings were done and over with, Harry and Ginny pulled Ron and Hermione into a hallway to talk.
"'Mione, you said you know where Roberts is," Harry prompted his friend for updates. Hermione nodded.
"Yes. He and a guard were talking about when Roberts was leaving, and Roberts let it slip that he was going to Sydney, Australia," Hermione told him.
"Thanks, Hermione." Harry turned to Ron. "All we have to do now is find him."
"Harry, we can't just go to Australia," Ron began. "We need a plan first."
"Ron's right, Harry," nodded Ginny. "You and the Aurors should take a few days to prepare before you go searching for Roberts."
As much as Harry wanted to find Roberts right then, he knew his friends were right. He couldn't just go waltzing into Australia without a plan.
"Besides, you'll do much better with a plan, anyway," Hermione said. Harry nodded. The first step, it seemed, was making a plan. Until then, finding Roberts would have to wait.
