"Hermione Jean Granger, will you marry me?"

Shock and excitement were just two of the many emotions Hermione was feeling right now. She was so surprised and happy, that she had trouble even getting the words out.

"Yes! Yes, of course I'll marry you!" she exclaimed. Ron beamed and swept his fiance in for a kiss, lifting her up off her feet. Hermione threw her arms around Ron, and returned the kiss with just as much passion. After a while of staying in each others embrace, the two broke apart.

"I love you so much," Ron smiled lightly. He pecked Hermione on the lips again.

"I love you, too." Hermione and Ron hugged again, both too excited for words. They were going to be married.

"I'm so excited 'Mione. But when do we want to tell the others?" Ron asked her. Hermione smiled.

"We'll cross that bridge when we come to it, love," she replied. After a moment, Ron started to talk again.

"We'll at least tell Harry and Ginny first, right? They're our best friends." Hermione nodded.

"We can tell them in the morning. Do you have to go in early tomorrow? I'm going in at 9," Hermione said. Ron nodded.

"I was planning on going in around that time, too. Let's stop by Grimmauld before then." Ron replied. Hermione grinned.

The two got ready together, and soon, they were ready to Apparate to Grimmauld Place. With a 'pop', the newly engaged couple arrived on Harry and Ginny's front porch. Hermione knocked on the door, which was opened by Ginny a moment later.

"Hey! What're you guys doing here? You look happy," Ginny said, yawning. Her hair was tousled, and she was still in her pajamas.

"Hey, Gin. Sorry if we woke you up, but Ron and I have some great news," Hermione started. Ginny stopped her before she could finish.

"Wait, we should go get Harry," Ginny said, instantly waking up. "Harry, come down here! Ron and Hermione have news!" A moment later, Harry ran to join the others. He was also in his pajamas, and his normally messy hair was even messier.

"Hey, Ron, 'Mione. What's going on?" Harry grinned at his best friends. Ron and Hermione smiled at each other, then turned back to Harry and Ginny.

"We're engaged!" they said in unison. The reaction was instant.

"That's great, guys! Congratulations!" Harry beamed, and pulled Ron and Hermione into a hug.

"That's brilliant! I knew it would happen soon enough!" Ginny laughed. The four celebrated for a while, happy for Ron and Hermione. The celebration only ended when Ron, Hermione, and Harry all had to go in to work, but they all had smiles on their faces for the rest of the day.

It was 7 AM the next morning, but Harry and Ginny's kitchen was already bustling. The couple were going to Ginny's Quidditch game later that day, and Ginny had to be there soon. They had collectively decided that they bring Teddy along, because they wanted him to experience 'the true art of Quidditch', according to Ginny.

"I'm so excited for Teddy to see this game, Gin. And I know you'll be brilliant." Harry kissed Ginny's cheek, and Ginny smiled. Teddy was still sleeping, but they were planning on waking him up soon.

"Me too. I know he'll love it," she responded. Harry and Ginny continued to get ready, making coffee and breakfast. Teddy came walking down the stairs, his blue blanket and toy wolf in hand.
