I was waking through the forest, on my way home from work. It was summer vacation and I got accepted to work at a hotel close to my house.

I just had to walk through this one forest everyday to get there fast. Though the forest itself was pretty big.

Every time I walk here I can't stop having this feeling of someone following me but every time I look anywhere, there's no one. I see no one and I hear nothing.

If it was a person then I would at least see him or her since there are no big, thick trees or thick bushes. But nothing, no one, as if it was never there.

It could have been a squirrel, but.. why would it follow me everyday?
I hope I wasn't just hallucinating. Don't wanna go crazy over nothing.

So I doubt it.

I was going to put on my earbuds to get away from reality and to stop scaring myself but right when I was going to put on my second earbud, I heard it again.

This time I turned around as fast as I could to catch whoever was following me everyday.

I let out a "hah" to show the person I wasn't scared. I actually had pepper spray with me. I'm not that stupid to think of walking through a forest with nothing to protect me.

But once I turned around, I was met with a pair of green, glowing eyes. They belonged to something that wasn't human-like. It was furry, black and pretty big, like a big dog.

It started growling, probably because I had the spray pointed at it and it was feeling threatened.

My heart was pounding so fast. I could actually see what has probably been following me for the past 3 weeks.

But when it started getting closer, I was ready to spray on it's eyes. But realizing it was a wild animal, I didn't think straight and just started running to get away.

I know. You can't run away from a wild animal, because obviously they will come after you.

I kept running and running without looking back once. I didn't want the animal to be the last thing I would see before I die.

It was dark, almost pitch black outside and tripping could happen any second.

After running for almost 1 minute I could see the other side of the forest that would let me see my house.

This time I was looking down to make sure I wouldn't trip and get eaten by the big dog.

The second I took a step out of the forest, that's when I looked back to see if the dog was still following me.

It wasn't.

I was breathing heavily.

But why was I feeling so dizzy, as if I was about to faint?

Everything was becoming blurry and the next thing I remember was falling on the cold ground, the street where my house was.

Yooo everyone. Ok so this will probably be the last book I make for now.

I just had to make this because at school we are gonna write novels and it could only be at least one A4 paper and I found my plot so freaking good (ngl) so I just had to make a book.

I couldn't just leave it as a novel, it would be too short for something so amazing. (Lol)

Thank you for your support and sorry for short first chapter.

Please vote and comment. It would mean the world♡
