Noah had asked the leader to borrow Max and Angelo to tag along with him and was given permission to do so.

They all were far away from the pack at this point, in their human forms with normal clothes on. Noah had this crazy idea of going out in public and gathering information about the magic he had been encountering the past few days.

The dreamcatcher, the glitter, Lilly, the strange man and other things that had gotten to him.

Too many questions unanswered and Noah wasn't liking it much.

But first, Angelo and Max would make sure to get Lilly out of the house. Cassy's parents didn't know who they were and hopefully wouldn't suspect anything.

But since they were overprotective parents, the plan had a possibility of failing. All they could rely on was good luck.

"Okey, remember the plan. Ask for Cassy and say you're friends from high school, act like you're just gonna give her updates about the school-start. Alright?" Noah explained the plan one last time. He had been feeling anxious the whole walk and only wanted it to go as planned so none of them would get in serious trouble.

"Yeah.. one question" Max pointed his finger up to get the word and spoke after Noah nodded. "What happens if they sense our smell? They're trained to smell our kind"

He was right.

Their smell could be noticeable and get them caught.

"Just try to blend in and say you met a few dogs on the way if they ask anything"

He took a deep breath and Angelo made his way to Cassy's house with Max a fit birthed behind. Noah had stayed far away, behind a tree with bushes around to peak while they made it to the front door.

Angelo was the one who had to knock in the end.

Max was as frightened as a small puppy while Angelo had a stern face and ready to hold a conversation as smooth as possible.

The door slowly opened and Max jumped, hiding behind Angelo.

At the door was Rick again. Cassy's dad, his two eyes set deep on the two younger boys, almost like a knife cutting through their flesh. "Who are you, young men?"

"Good day, sir. My name is Angelo and this is Max" he started with an introduction and pointed at Max who gulped and waved uto Rick.

"We're Cassy's classmates. We were just wondering if we could have a chat with her about the start of the new school year"

Rick stood by the door still keeping his eyes on Angelo, wondering if there was something else going on. The scene almost made Max pee his pants. He was scared of the old man that made him debate whether to stay or excuse himself and walk back to Noah.

But that would blow up their cover. He only gulped his nervousness and kept his cool.

Angelo held his hand from behind and squeezed it to reassure him that everything was under control.

"Cassy! You got friends from school who came to visit!" Rick yelled. From upstairs was a skeptical Cassy slowly making her way down the stairs. She was about to ask who they were when Max chose to jump into action and opened his arms.

"Cassy! How great it is to see you again. It's been such an awful long time" he smiled big that his eyes disappeared along with it.

Cassy who had no idea what was going on looked over at Angelo who mouthed something so she would understand and play along. Thankfully she did and started acting along.

"Hey!- friends! It really has.." she looked over at her dad who was still standing by the door. He got the message when Cassy kept her eyes on him and he left them alone.

Once Rick was out of their sight, she immediately asked what they wanted.

"Please let us borrow Lilly" Angelo requested with the same emotionless face expression.

"What? No. Where is he?"

Angelo stared at her for a second before moving aside and pointing right to the bushes far away, facing the house's front door. A big man stood up and scratched his neck out of embarrassment.

Noah felt embarrassed to show Cassy his current situation and sat down on the ground with his hands covering his red heated face.

Cassy found herself smiling like an idiot when they had made eye contact. Max and Angelo has caught her and she immediately cleared her throat to avoid any awkwardness.

"I'll be right back"

She still didn't know what they wanted Lilly for. But since they were with Noah, she was sure he'd take good care of her so there was nothing to worry about.

She made her way upstairs, into her room and looked around to see where Lilly could be hiding. It was a thing, kind of a habit of Lilly these days. To hide in any comfortable place there was in her room. She's even fall asleep sometimes so Cassy would have no choice but to look for her.

Luckily she was by the window this time, her face looking out to the path that lead towards the small town.

Her face was rather showing a sad expression which was unusual for her. Cassy silently made her way beside Lilly and looked out of the window, searching for what Lilly could possibly have her eyes glued on.

A sighed was let out of the smaller figure, her eyes looking down. "I want to go out more often. I feel a bit suffocated with closed doors around me" she confessed while playing with her thumbs.

Cassy wasn't surprised by her confession. She had been inside for a long time since they met and it was only natural for a small fairy like her to wish for an open space where she could fly around and be herself.

Cassy gave her a little pat on the end and smiled.

"Well, there were a few... of not the normal type who would like to meet you. They're Noah's friends" She told Lilly, whose eyes widened and she turned her head to face Cassy with big doe eyes.

"Who is it?" She asked.

She earned a chuckle from Cassy who couldn't help but find Lilly adorable, full of curiosity and excitement. "Let's go downstairs so you can greet them" she cracked a smile watching Lilly jump up on Cassy's shoulder.

She grabbed her bag that was laid under her desk and pointed in it for Lilly to hide inside. It wouldn't be safe to be exposed while Cassy's parents were still home. They'd clearly take notice to her.

Once Lilly went along with it and hid in the bag, they made their way down to the front door. Cassy cleared her throat and they understood that it's be for the best to speak outdoors. They all stepped outside the house while Cassy carefully closed the door behind them.

She opened her bag just enough for little Lilly to fly out in a hurry, while Max leaned to get a better look which caused them to knock heads against each other. Lilly fell back into the bag with a squeal.

The whole scene made them bust out in giggles.

"Oh Lilly, be careful" Cassy set the bag down, palmed her hands together where Lilly could sit and took her out.

Max shook his head when the sight in front of him didn't seem real. She was shining and Max who had a thing for that stuff immediately grew attached to the little one. He leaned in again with a calm smile and waved.

"Hey, my name's Max. Nice to meet you, Lilly" and for the first time, Max was calm. He greeted her in a polite way.

"Alright let's hurry back to Noah now" Angelo cleared his throat and interrupted the moment between Max and a blushing Lilly.

"They'll take care of you" Cassy reassured her fairy before giving her to Max who let her sit on his shoulder before making a run for it into the bushes where Noah was hiding behind.

"Thanks sisters-in-law" max winked before disappearing.

A confused Cassy was left behind.

"What?"
