The town was lively, like usual during the day. People were everywhere interacting with one another and nothing could possibly look out of place. That was until Max got into a fight with a lady who he accidentally had bumped into but refused to apologize.

Noah had tried to drag him away but Max seemed to be really mad that even his werewolf instincts where about to show.

"Ahem, Max. We wouldn't want our little friend to wait any longer, would we?" Cassy reminded him of what they were there for. They had just got there and he was already making a fuss which wasn't much appreciated.

"You must excuse my friend, ma'am. He's not from around here" Cassy said in a sweet tone to calm the lady down and grabbed Max tight by the arm, doing her best to drag him away from the scene.

There was no point in mentioning it so they calmed him down by moving him to a corner for a few seconds. After Max felt better, they continued their way to check the stores.

Cassy grabbed her list and pointed at the first store, crystal flow.

They entered and were introduced to a store filled with shiny dreamcatchers with what could only be made with the finest gems in town. It even impressed Angelo who honestly had never had any interest in gems and crystals.

"Wow, this is so beautiful.."  Cassy whispered with wide eyes, totally astonished by the shops stunning layout.

The rest of the squad were just as surprised by everything they saw. Everything was glimmering thanks to the sun that reflected in from the outside.

"Hi, welcome to crystal flow!" The stores sales associate came to the entrance and greeted everyone.

"Need help with anything?"

Cassy looked at the employee and greeted her back with a smile. She didn't say anything and gave her question to someone else by walking away, who happened to be Noah.

He immediately clenched his nose when a a strong scent hit his nostrils which felt uncomfortable. She had drenched herself in a disgusting perfume.

Noah noticed how she caught an interest for him the second her eyes laid upon him, and with a smile, moved closer.

"Hello there, need any help?" She asked in an annoying, flirty voice, probably trying her best to seduce him.

Noah didn't seem the least interested and ignored her by walking away, her eyes still on him while he made his way behind Cassy. With hesitation he put his arms around her waist and ignored the girl.

Cassy abruptly lifted her head and looked behind, up at Noah with a startled face expression.

"Wha-" she was cut off when she looked behind him to the now irritated girl who was looking back at her with a killer look. It sent shivers down her spine but she soon got over it and held Noahs' arm to get his attention.

"What do you think about this dreamcatcher?" She asked while pointing at a blue dreamcatcher with aquamarine stones, completely different from the one they both had.

Noah gave it a second look and then shrugged his shoulders. They both had forgotten how close they were right now and carried on with the conversation.

"It looks Okey, I like ours better. Green suits you.. and me" he said with a small chuckle.

She responded with a giggle and nodded her head in agreement. Green, just like his eyes and one of Cassy's favorite colors.

The girl who took interest to Noah was already far gone. The one who came to interrupt their sweet moment was Lilly who lightly tapped Cassy's arm to get her attention.

They made eye contact and Cassy immediately came to her senses and let go of Noah's arms, after getting out of his grip.

"Yes Lilly?" She said. Her heart was beating fast and felt ridiculous for doing such a shameless thing in public.

"Did you forget what we're here for?!" Lilly asked back in a loud whisper.

She was in the backpack, hiding so nobody would see her.

"Right.. right. Uhh"

"Guys let's go check another store, I think this one is too fancy for somebody who would be considered her mom" Cassy said with a smile and left the store with the others.
—————
They had gone through the list and been at 6 more stores, no luck of finding a woman or man that Lilly felt any connection with.

They all felt restless and sat down on the benches at a park nearby the previous store they just checked.

Lilly felt really defeated and was starting to give up on the a whole thing.

"We'll never find my parents like this. I look at them and I feel nothing. Should I do something else? Talk to them?" A pouty fairy suggested while her head was empty with safe and logical ideas.

Nobody could respond with words and let silence do its' thing.

Noah grabbed the notebook between him and Cassy to check how many stores they had left which was only one. It had no actual name. He nudged her arm and pointed at the last store listed.

"What's this?"

"Oh my god, how could I have forgotten?!"

She instantly stood up, almost dropping the backpack with Lilly inside which she had on her lap.

"That must be the store where you might feel something familiar!"

Everyone looked confused, including Lilly. But faith was still strong and they were gonna give it a chance.

Cassy showed them the way to the store she had requested a dreamcatcher of her liking. It got her in contact with Noah so it must've been magical.

If that old woman in the store had magic, just like Lilly, then she could be of help.

She might not be Lilly's mother or grandmother, but she could most likely be a witch, and who else but a witch could help Lilly find her parents.

They passed by the last block and Cassy stopped in her tracks, gasping.

"Where is it?!"
