Jonathan's POV

Amy completely took my breath away when she walked down the stairs. Her brother was an cool guy that played hockey at his school. I acted like a goof but I could tell she thought it was funny.

I led her to my car and opened the door for her like the 'gentleman' I am.

She smiled and sat in her seat. Some of her hair fell in front of her face as she leaned down to adjust her boot.

I closed her door and walked around to my side. I hopped in my car and stuck my key in the ignition leaning back as the car roared to life. I slid my hands down the steering wheel till I got them where I wanted them. I put pressure on the gas petal using my foot causing the car the begin rolling forward.

Amy slipped her phone out of her boot and typed away on her screen as I glanced over to her.

"Eyes on the road toes."She said purposely pronouncing my name wrong. I hated when people did that but coming out of her mouth I loved it especially that southern accent that added to it. She slipped her phone into her boot again and placed her elbow on the car door armrest (idk what it's called) giggling slightly.

" I love my brother." she said with biggest smile.

"What did he do?" I asked. He probably sent her some goofy text about this date.

"He's acting like a goofball." She giggled. "He told me that no matter when we get home he'll still be home cleaning this gun." She rested her chin on her fisted hand and stared out the window.

"It's the first time he's cracked a joke like that in a while." She looked over to me. "Do you have any siblings?"

"Yeah. I thought you would know that if you're a Blackhawks fan." I glanced over to her again.

"I like privacy in my personal life so why stalk somebody else's private life?" I raised my eyebrows. that's a first.

"While we're on the topic of siblings. What happened to your brother? I noticed he kinda freaked when I touched him on the shoulder."

She sighed.

"Michael is gay. He was out with his boyfriend one night when he was pulled into an alleyway. He kept denying having sex with Brad. I guess Brad got tired of him saying 'no' so he pulled him into the alley and him and his 3 friends gang um..." She paused but I knew what she was gonna say. I reached over and put my hand on her shoulder to signal I knew what she meant. "I don't even know why I told you that I never tell anyone unless I can trust them. I guess I just already feel comfortable with you."

I was shocked. This girl is full of surprises. People don't usually trust me just because of my fame. I once dated a girl that I had to date 6 months before she finally told me she wasn't American. The fact that she could trust me with something as big as her brother's rape made me wanna jump for joy but I kept my cool.

"You ever been to a Hawks game?" I asked trying to change the topic.

She nodded. "I went once with my dad and Michael. My mom isn't really one for hockey or football or any sports." I laughed. She looked at me then looked away. I turned back to the road and we were silent for a few minutes. It was a comfortable silence. I took a quick look at her and it looked like one of those movie scenes with the dark car and the stunning girl in the passenger seat. I don't plan on making any moves tonight. I want to get to know her first.

..............

We get to the movie theater and I asked her what movie she wanted to see.

"Umm how about The Book Thief?" She asked looking up at the movie options. I nodded and walked up to ticket box. I payed for the tickets and gave the cashier my autograph. I wrapped my arm around her shoulders and led her to the popcorn stand. We waited in line and decided to share a drink and a small popcorn. I went to pay but she beat me to it paying the cashier with her debit card. I looked at her.

"What? you payed for the movie. I payed for the food. No need to spoil me when I also make my own money." I laughed and grabbed the food when it was brought over. She snatched the drink from my hand and to a sip of the pop.

"Mmm this coke is soooo good." she took another sip and finished with a satisfied 'ahh'.

"I thought we were drinking Pepsi?" I asked confused.

"It is but I call all sodas coke sometimes."

"It's pop" I said my Canadian roots coming out.

She giggled "Coke." She said emphasizing her 'k'

I laughed as we entered the theater and made our way up the stairs to find seats. There were a lot of people in here but thankfully the lights were out so no one could really see me.

...........

The movie ended and I was kinda depressed at the end(Spoiler Alert!). We exited the theater I was caught by a few girls that defined 'puck bunny' perfectly. Amy just giggled and said she was heading to the bathroom. She walked off with a bit of country sass in her step. I stared at her hips as they swayed.

The other girls walked up to me and asked for pictures and autographs. The pictures were horrible. They were grinding up against me and they seemed to take forever to snap a photo. I signed a couple phone cases and shorts and stuff as Amy walked up to me.

"Umm excuse me Jonathan?" A little voice asked from behind me. I turned around and faced a little boy around 7 or 8.

"Is that your girlfriend?" he asked pointing in the direction of Amy. I laughed and crouched down in front of him so we were eye level.

"Umm no. Actually though I was just about to ask her if she would be though."

"She's pretty." he said and I nodded.

"I have and idea. What's your name?"

"Malkin." He replied. (he was not named after Evgeni Malkin)

"Malkin how about you walk over to Amy and tell her that I would like her to be my girlfriend."

He nodded and ran up to Amy. He tugged on her hand and she looked down at him.

"Jonathan says he wants you to be his girlfriend." He said to her.

"Oh really?"

"Yeah. and you should date him because you're really pretty." He said. She looked up at me and smiled.

"You're right I should and I will."

I watched Malkin walk up to me and we fist bumped. I told him thank you as he walk away and handed him a signed puck I always carry around for a lucky fan.

"So girlfriend, shall we be heading home?" I asked as I stuck my elbow out.

"I believe we shall boyfriend." she slipped her hand on my arm and walked away. I could picture this as another movie moment. I could see the camera moving up away from us and portraying the words 'The End' as the couple lived happily ever after.

Our movie though hasn't even finished the beginning credits.
