Chapter 41: Phenex

Hey everybody, it's your friendly neighborhood Author Man here!

So, a long time ago (Before I started writing stories), I read a story that was a RWBY x male reader with a back to the future crossover. I thought this was awesome.

Back to the future is my favorite movie, and nothing has passed it so far. (For anyone wondering, my second favorite is a tie between terminator 2 (Governator for the win) and the first Jurassic Park. My third is Who Framed Rodger Rabbit?)

But the author left Wattpad and never continued, as far as I can tell. So I was wondering, can I do something like that?

*Y/n POV*

I let out a yawn, stretching my arms as I got out of bed. Funus climbed up to my shoulder, using his mouth to raise himself up.

"Good morning, Partner."

"Morning Funus," I said, "What do you want for breakfast?"

"Mm~ Bacon..."

I felt him drool on my shoulder a bit, and shook my head. I got up and went to the kitchen, where Ophis and Mom were already there, eating breakfast.

"Good morning son!" Mom said.

"You're finally up, Master!" Ophis said.

"Yeah, I'm up," I yawned, "Can someone get this lizard some bacon?"

A servant put a tray of bacon on the table, and Funus immediately jumped on it.

"Thank you."

I sat down across from Ophis, and a plate of waffles was placed in front of me. I began to eat, as Dad walked into the room.

"Morning Dad." I said.

He just grunted, and I looked at him.

"You don't seem happy." Mom said, "What happened?"

Dad took a cup of coffee and took a sip, turning to us.

"I received a letter from Lord Phenex."

"Aw damn!" I said, "Are they still going on about Rias and Riser?"

"I don't know," He sighed, "He only asked for me and you to go visit him."

"I really don't wanna do this." I said.

"Y/n, there's no way out. Their not going to leave us alone."

"But I hate them."

"Y/n, please."

"Fine," I grumbled, "Let me go get my pants on."

I stood up, and walked off, to go get pants.

[Timeskip]

Dad and I walked up to the door of the Phenex Castle. We looked each other in the eyes, and his shrugged. He knocked on the door, and a servant opened it after a moment.

"Ah, Lord Gremory and Lord Y/n," He said, "Please, come inside."

We walked inside, and I looked at the interior decoration.

"You know," I said, "I like red, but they use way too much."

"It could use some purple or black." Funus said, sitting on my shoulder.

We continued forward, and came upon Lord Phenex and Lady Phenex.

"Greetings Gremorys," Lord Phenex said, "Welcome to our castle."

"Why did you call us here?" Dad said.

"Getting to the point then," he said quietly, "I would like to... apologize for Riser's past actions."

"Okay..." I said, "This is new."

"Yes," Lady Phenex said, "We must apologize. He has acted in ways that have embarrassed us, and we would like to fix it."

"What do you mean?" Dad asked.

"We would like to offer Ravel, to join your son's peerage."

Dad and I looked at each other, wide eyed. I heard footsteps behind us, and dodged a tackle from a blonde haired girl, Ravel Phenex.

"Hello, Lord Y/n." She said, "I'm looking forward to serving in your peerage."

"Dad, may we speak for a moment?"

"Yep."

We back off a bit, and huddled closely.

"What the hell?" I whisper-yelled, "Did you do this?"

"No," he said, "I have no part of this."

"Well then what the hell do we do?!"

He scratched his chin, "I don't know. Don't you still have room in your peerage?"

"Yeah," I said, "But this seems wrong!"

"Listen, I'll talk to the lord and lady, can you just talk Ravel for a while?" He said, "Maybe it'll all turn out okay."

I glared at him, and sighed.

"Fine. Let's go."

I straightened out and began too walk away, as he walked back to the lord and lady. I heard footsteps follow me, and I knew Ravel was following from me.

When I got a decent distance, I turned around, and stopped. She stopped in front of me.

"What did you want to talk about, Lord Y/n?"

"First off," I said, "Stop calling me lord. I'm just Y/n."

"Okay, Y/n."

"Second off, what are you playing at?"

She scratched her chin, "What are you talking about?"

"Oh please," I said, "Your family always has an angle. So what are you trying to do?"

"No no no," She said, "I have no angle! I just want to serve you."

"Why?" I said, "Why do you want to sere me? You're a powerful devil in your own right."

"See, that right there," She said, "You recognize that I'm more than what I look like."

She looked out the window.

"Most people see me as a weakling, because I failed to stop that pervert. Ever since Riser fell to you and Issei, people have seen our family as weaklings," She said, "But you, I've seen it in your peerage. Despite your personal feelings, you recognize power, and are willing to train that power. That is why I want to serve you."

She seemed to be on the verge of tears, as I looked over to Funus.

"What do you say Partner?"

"You just added Ophis to your peerage," He responded, "I'm pretty sure Ravel is fine."

"Ravel Phenex."

She looked over to me, as I stuck my hand out. A glowing ball appeared in my hand, and my bishop piece appeared.

"Join my peerage," I said, "Prove to everyone you're more than you seem. Prove to me that you're worth the investment."

"Thank you Y/n!" She said, jumping and hugging me, "I'll be the best peerage member you've ever seen!"

"I hope you are," I said, "But for now, please let go of me."

She hugged me tighter, and I could feel her boobs pressing against my chest.

"What's Rias gonna say?"

I glared at the reptilian.

"Thanks for giving me that thought, you useless reptile."
