*Third Person POV*
"Miss Schnee, it is time to wake up," The butler announced, knocking on the door, "Miss Schnee?"
"Yes Klein," Weiss called, slowly pushing herself from her massive bed, "Thank you."
"You're welcome, Miss Schnee."
Weiss looked around her massive room, spotting the picture of Y/n's peerage on her bedside table. She lifted it up and ran her fingers over where she and Y/n were standing next to each other. Y/n had a wide smile across his face and Weiss was pouting, looking away from him.
She put the photo down and stood from her bed, letting out a yawn. She hadn't left the mansion since the Fall of Beacon, and had long since resigned herself to the fact that Y/n wasn't coming any time soon. He had his own family obligations to deal with, many of which were even worse than her own.
The two had shared a deep connection, seeing as how they were both successors to families that required a lot from them.
{Flashback}
Weiss walked through Beacon library, not picking any books or even looking at the shelves. She had much on her mind, especially after the death of Ironwood. With a new General being appointed to the position, this was an interesting time. Her father was considering moving her to Atlas Military Academy as a show of good faith with the general, but it was really a way to try to buy him over.
As she was browsing the shelves, she knocked shoulders with someone. As she looked up angry that someone had ran into her, she locked eyes with Y/n, who was also perusing the shelves.
"Apologies Weiss," He said, "I wasn't paying attention."
"No," She said, "It was my bad."
"Well then, what brings you to the library? Looking for something?"
"No," She replied, "I was just...thinking."
"I understand," He said, "With Ironwood's death and all that, you're probably busy. I'll let you be."
He began to walk away, but she stopped him by grabbing his arm.
"Umm, well, if you don't mind," She stammered, "W-we could... talk?"
"Sure, anything for you."
The two found a set of quiet, empty chairs at the back of library, looking out of a window towards the courtyards. They took seats across from each other, and Y/n looked towards Weiss.
"So, what's eating you?"
"Well," She began, "My father is considering transferring me to Atlas. He claims it's a show of good faith to the new General, but I know it's because he's trying to buy him off."
"I understand," Y/n replied, "While it doesn't happen often, there are times when being a Gremory works against me."
"What do you mean?"
"Politics in the underworld is... medieval," Y/n said, staring out at the evening sky, "Arranged marriages, fragile alliances, and political prostitution are all very common."
"Arranged marriages?"
Y/n sighed, "Rias is very popular with potential suitors. Me too, though to a lesser extent. With the constantly rising threat of my brother being over thrown by devils that preferred the satanic days, my family is willing to look for alliances wherever we can. And even I am not immune from that."
Weiss stared at Y/n's face as he looked out over the courtyard. The sun shone on his handsome features, bright eyes that somehow displayed child-like youth and innocence, with the wisdom and experience of an old man behind them. He somehow displayed every quality Weiss would look for in a man, and even more.
He turned to her, and Weiss felt her face heat up. He reached out and placed a hand on her forehead, checking her temperature.
"Are you okay Weiss?"
"O-of course I am, you dolt!" She yelled, "Don't touch me!"
Y/n chuckled, as Weiss turned bright red. The two looked out onto the courtyard, and Weiss began to consider her future with Y/n and his peerage.
