{Flashback}
*??? POV*
I stood in the doorway, as I watched Y/n play with his father. It was that one day a month when I sneak Y/n out and take him to see his family in Hell. Which sounds much worse than it really is.
Y/n and his father were both so happy, just sitting around playing together. I feel bad keeping them apart, but Y/n is half-human, and needs to stay with humans.
"So," Venelana said, coming up next to me, "How is everything back home?"
"Fine," I answered, "Fallen angels, Grimm, we've got problems, but everything is just fine."
"You know, You could come live here," She suggested, "Zeoticus would love to have Y/n all the time."
I laughed with her, "I know, but I don't think that would be best for Y/n. I can protect him back at home."
"I hope you can," Venelana said, "Have you found him yet?"
"No," I sighed, "But I'm close. Which is why I have something to ask."
"What is it?"
"I need you guys to watch over Y/n for a while," I said, "I'm going after him."
"Of course," She answered, "We'd love to. But you need to promise that you'll come back for him."
"Absolutely."
{Flashback Over}
*Third Person POV*
Ophis, Ravel, and Raynare were running through Emerald forest, away from where the ruins of Beacon were. They had gone to search for clues to Y/n, but hadn't found anything. As they were there, they attracted the attention of some Grimm, and were now running from a King Taijitu that was chasing them.
As they ran, they heard more and more Grimm gather behind them. Ophis looked backwards, firing some magic at them. There were at least a hundred behind them, and they couldn't take them all out if they wanted to.
"Keep running!" Raynare yelled, "When the sky clears, fly!"
And run they did. They kept running through the trees, attracted more and more Grimm.
Eventually, they came upon a massive cliff, looking up at the sheer cliff face. They heard roars and hissing, and turned around. They looked on with wide eyes, as at least two hundred Grimm gathered behind them. There were Nevermore in the sky, Beowolves, Ursa, and King Taijitu.
They all prepared magic to attack, but were plagued by fear. They began to fire off magic, as the Grimm got closer and closer.
Eventually, the girls were pressed back to back, and were fighting with all they had. They were quickly getting tired, and found that they couldn't fire anymore magic.
As they fell to the ground and the Grimm closed in on them, Ophis closed her eyes, expecting death to come quickly.
Instead, there were the sounds of explosions, and a flash of red light. She opened her eyes, and saw that all the Grimm had been reduced to dust, as a cloaked figure stood in the slowly falling dust.
Ophis noticed that under the figure's hood, there was a glowing golden eye. As soon as the figure noticed she was looking, it flipped around its cloak and disappeared into thin air.
"We have to get everyone else," Ophis said, "Then, we need to find Y/n!"
