*Ruby POV*
I ran up Beacon Tower, pulling out my Sacred Gear scythe.
"Ruby, hurry!" Ignis yelled.
"Got it!"
I reached the top of the Tower, but was too late. Cinder shot an arrow towards Pyrrha, and I got mad.
My eyes began to glow silver, and Cinder looked at me in fear, as I prepared to attack.
"That's enough." A commanding voice said.
The silver glow died down, and I saw that Y/n was standing between Pyrrha and Cinder, holding the arrow in his right hand, while his left arm was just a stub.
"Y/n?" I said.
"Ruby, take Pyrrha and leave," He ordered, "I'll handle her."
*Y/n POV*
Ruby and Pyrrha left the tower, and I looked at Cinder, who held her bow at the ready.
"Well, well, well," She said, "I see you escaped, Mr.Gremory."
"Cinder Fall," I said, "You have put me through torture, and nearly destroyed Beacon, including the murder of Prof.Ozpin. For these crimes, you shall die."
She just laughed, "Well then, I'm sorry to cut this short, but I have to leave."
"Not if I have anything to say about it!"
My left stub became a Sea Feilong again, and I sent it after her. She jumped onto it, and used it to push herself off the tower.
"What the f-"
I was cut off, as a massive back mass shot up from below. It flew up and I saw that it was the Grimm Dragon. I looked up and saw that Cinder was riding on top, as it flew away.
I watched her fly off, before cracking my neck, and taking a running position.
*Third Person POV*
Y/n went running towards the edge, closing his eyes. He leapt off the edge, and flew downwards, plummeting to the ground.
A purple orb came out of his chest and floated below him, transforming.
He shot back into the sky, riding the back of a giant black dragon, Funus.
"Let's get her!"
Funus let out an earth-shaking roar, and chased the Grimm Dragon.
Funus was easily faster than the Grimm Dragon, catching up to it within a matter of seconds. He positioned himself behind the Grimm, and Y/n stood up on his back.
"Fire!" Y/n yelled, pointing Ascalon.
Funus opened his mouth, and a spray of black fire shot out, striking the Grimm Dragon from behind.
The Grimm Dragon began to spin and flail, and Cinder was sent flying from the back of the beast. She fell to the ground, and Y/n jumped off Funus, spreading his injured and torn wings.
Funus followed the Grimm Dragon down to the ground, as it stood up. They roared, challenging each other, as the Grimm Dragon lunged for his throat. Funus responded by gripping the Grimm's neck with his claws.
Funus tore into the Grimm's neck, and threw him away. He shot some flames at the beast, lighting it ablaze.
The Grimm Dragon managed to stand up, still on fire. It lifted it's front legs into the air, and roared loudly.
Funus crouched down, and took the chance to attack, lunging at the Grimm's stomach. He easily struck into the weak skin, and tore through, tearing out chunk after chunk.
When he had finished his mauling, the Grimm dropped to the ground, and Funus let out a victorious roar.
Back with Y/n and Cinder.
Y/n fell to the ground, and looked behind him, where Cinder was trying to crawl away.
"What's wrong bitch?" He said, walking towards her, "Can't stand up?"
She attempted to crawl away in fear, making her hands and nails bleed.
She was grabbed from behind by Y/n, who lifted her into the air by the neck. He slowly closed his grip, cutting off her wind pipe.
"Goodbye, fake maiden."
He squeezed his grip completely, and her head was separated from her body.
The head landed nearby, and Y/n grabbed the body, as Funus landed nearby.
"Hope you're hungry!"
Y/n threw the body into the air, and Funus tore it out of the sky, eating it in a single bite.
Y/n picked up the head, and hopped onto Funus, as they flew into the air.
[Timeskip]
*Emerald POV*
Mercury and I ran through Vale, trying to escape. The plan had gone horribly wrong, and now Cinder was missing.
Hunters were after us, slowly closing in. We ran into an alley, and leaned against a wall.
"Emerald," Mercury said, "We're done for. They're coming for us right now. Cinder is dead. Roman and Neo turned on us. We're going to die."
"No, we can't," I said, "We can't."
"Can't what?" A new voice said, "Die? Trust me, I can make that possible."
I looked up, and saw that Y/n was standing on top of the building. He jumped down, and I tried to back away in fear.
"You can't run," He said, "But luckily for you, I'm not here to kill you."
"W-what?" I stuttered.
"Yep," He said, "I want you to give Salem a message from me."
"W-what do you want me to tell her?"
He threw something at me and I caught it. It was Cinder's head.
"Take this to Salem," He ordered, "Tell her, 'Cinder's life has been taken as payment for my left arm. Prepare for death.'"
A portal opened behind me, and Mercury walked towards me. He stopped suddenly, and his head slid from his neck, cut clean off.
"I only need one messenger."
He kicked me through the portal, and I could feel tears began to fall down my face, as he disappeared with the portal.
