I have never given much thought on the unworldly. Demons, werewolves, vampires, that stuff just exists in books and movies. It was never supposed to happen to me, or to Anna. I didn't deserve this. Non of us did. Usually in books or tv shows, it is always the jock or popular guys who get chosen for this stuff, not me. I am the guy who sits on the sidelines. I am the nerd in the horror movie. I am the guy everyone ignores in the hallways. I am not supposed to be here. My parents like to fight, especially my father. My home is not quite what you would call a home. I had no friends, except Anna. She was the only true person who knows what I have to go through. With this being slapped on the table, it was too to bare. I didn't think anything could possibly get worse, and boy was I wrong. It was all just a simple case of being in the wrong place, at the wrong time. Have you ever heard of the underdog saving the day? Well, I guess we're about to find out.
