"Im eighteen mother fuckers!". Anna screamed while swinging her purse like a helicopter on the coffee table. I sat in the far chair sipping the clear liquid from the red solo cup. My life is just crumbling down bit by bit. First people started to end up dead, then I blamed Tate and this group for the cause. I gained powers I have no idea how to control. I killed myself and came back. I was raped. I killed my own father. I learned about the council and The Wailing. I can't trust the ones I'm supposed to trust the most. I raised my cup and took another swig to my never ending self pity thoughts. Worst of all, the girl I am falling for is dead. Yet another power I had I guess. Not only can I travel to Hiron, but I can see the dead as well. Perfect.

"Larson! Boy...Come to me". Anna raised her finger and pointed to me. I shook me head and she frowned. "Larson Mack! Get... your sexy ass...over to...me". She slurred. I couldn't help but smile at her and I stood up and stood before the coffee table.

"What?". I asked.

"Kneel before me!". She wrinkled up her nose and pointed towards the ground. I raised a brow at her.

"Excuse me?". I said.

"Kneel before this beautiful new creature". She said while showing herself off. I rolled my eyes and kneeled. She laughed and stumbled over a little bit.

"Anna get down please". I sighed. I really wasn't in the mood for this. I just wanted to be alone right now actually.

"Don't talk back...peasant!". She slurred whipping her hair at me. I saw Nina in the corner playing beer pong with Mavious and I walked over to them.

"Sorry need to steal this one". I pointed at Tate who was sitting on the couch watching Anna laughing his ass off to go fill in for Nina and he did what he was told. Nina and I walked over to Anna and Anna smiled.

"Demoness! Can I hold your sword?". She smiled. Nina raised a brow too.

"Only if you want master to eat you". She smiled.

"You got this?". I pleaded to Nina. She nodded and I refilled my solo cup with more vodka and went outside to the back porch. It was surprisingly big, but I wasn't complaining. I sat on the swing that looked over the woods where I first met Leslie and went to Hiron. What a hellish roller coaster that was. I sighed and took another drink. The door opened and closed and I sighed.

"Why are you here?". Brittney asked.

"I needed to get away from everything". I replied. She huffed and stood over the railing looking out into the forest like I was.

"Me too". She replied. We kind of just stood there in silence which I didn't mind but I rather be alone.

"Why do you hate me so much?". I asked.

"I dont hate you". She said. I rolled my eyes at her. "I just have trust issues with people I don't know". She explained.

"Cheers to that". I said.

"You have no idea". She whispered.

"Can I ask you a weird question?". I asked while taking another sip.

"Sure". She sighed.

"What made you like this?".

"Like what?".

"A vampire. End up with these people, be a-".

"Be a bitch? Well that's a long story". She smiled. I held out my drink to her and she smiled. She took it and took a sip and sat down. "I was born in 1854. My father was a soldier and my mother was just a regular old house wife. We lived in a very small cabin outside of the village up the hill. Probably smaller than this porch. I remember going out into the fields and watching the horses gallop through the fields every single morning and that would be the best part of my day. Wishing I could be one of them never having to worry about anything in the world. I would go up into the wheat field and make dollies out of it and give them to my friends. I would show them to my parents, but they said it was a waist of time and selfish. We could have used it to make bread instead of a toy". She cut off for a second but began talking anyways. "As I grew up I had to go down to the creek where all the townspeople did their laundry and well, do the laundry. People always looked at me in ways I never wanted them to look at me. Especially the men. They always called me beautiful and the most prettiest princess of the children. When the war started, my father left and he never came home. We had no idea if he had died or he just go tired of us but he never did come home".
