"Close the god damn door!". Anna and I rushed over to the big metal door, and slammed it shut while locking it. I pushed Anna out of the way while I threw over a filing cabinet over the door.

"That's not going to keep it long". Anna said breathless.

"Larson get us out of here!". Leslie yelled.

"I can't! Usually I can start up the feeling, but I literally just can't! It's like all my energy is just drained or something". I wined. Leslie pressed her body up against the door as soon as it started to get pounded on.

"Give me the boy!". It screeched. Anna started to pace the floor while biting her nails.

"This isn't real! Demons do not exist, abilities do not exist Hydro does not exist".

"Hiron". I corrected her.

"Whatever! I can't be in a place that just doesn't exist!". Anna cried.

"Will you shut the hell up! If you don't come help me hold this door, you're about to see just how real this place is!". Leslie snapped. Anna rushed over to the door to help block it. "Larson, come on! You need to get us out of here!".

"I told you I can't!". I cried out. I rushed all around the small office to see if there was anyway out, but there wasn't another door. But there was a small shaft leading somewhere else! "I found something! It's a shaft!". I yelled while pointing to the small opening. Leslie huffed and glared at me.

"How are we supposed to open it genius!". She scoffed. I lifted it up at it just came right off, see girls can be ignorant just as bad as guys.

"I'll hold the door, you two go through!". I said. I traded places with the girls and held the door tight with the demon still pounding from the other side.

"Go Anna!". Leslie shoved Anna into the small opening and she began to crawl through.

"Go! I'll be right behind you!". I said to Leslie. She gave me a sad smile and pushed herself inside. I took a deep breath and was just about to run for it, when the demons hand crashed through the door. It's fingers dug so deep into my back I let out a scream of pain. Instantly I could feel my back starting to become wet, but I threw myself into the hole in the wall as fast as possible. I crawled like an army man rushing to get to the safe zone. I caught up with the girl in an instant, but Anna was stopped in front of us.

"I need some type of screw driver!". She yelled back. Pain seeped throughout my back and into my veins now so I wasn't able to reply.

"Use this!". Leslie pulled some sort of knife out of her pocket and handed it to Anna. We were all on our belly's in the cold, dark vent trying to catch what little oxygen we had available. Anna made struggling noises and Leslie huffed. "Larson! Come on!".

"I can't get up there and for the last time, I can't get us back!". I screamed as loud as I could. Anger rushed through me against them, but I blame it on the pain I was in. Laughter echoed all around in the vent and all three of us stopped dead.

"Uh, What the fuck was that?". Anna whispered. We all heard it again and looked around as best as our body's would let us in the right space, but it was little use. It was still so incredibly hard to see anywhere in here.

"I think it's go-". Leslie started to say but what looked like a huge knife was slashed into the bottom of the vent. We all scooted the the right of it so we weren't cut by it. The knife was taken out, and started cutting through the metal on top of the vent. I sunk my body so close to the floor it was like I was going to melt into it. It scraped all along the metal above us, almost touching our noses. "Anna hurry!".
