Adrien: The Man I Didn't Know

   "Akumas..." I whispered. I looked up, and saw a man in a gray and purple suit, cackling as the crowd was becoming captured akumatized people. They were soldiers, with moth wings and silver helmets. What was going on?
   "Rena Rogue, Queen Bee, we need to get rid of those soldiers." Ladybug stood up. "Carapace, find a place for the people who are not affected to stay in. We cannot risk more people getting akumatized."
   "Right!" They all went to work, I turned to Ladybug
   "We need to take on Hawkmoth."
   "Both of us?" I asked her.
   "We don't know how he fights without the ability to hide." she looked up.
   "I'll take the left, you take the right." I grabbed my baton.
    "Go!" We leaped off the building, and started attacking Hawkmoth. 
   "Where is the Miraculous?" I asked her.
   "It's the butterfly brooch around his neck!" she answered, "But it's not going to be so easy to take it off!"
   "I'm willing to do whatever it takes." I attacked him, "IF WE GET IT OFF, THE SOLDIERS GO AWAY!"
    "HA HA!" Hawkmoth laughed, as he blocked my hit. "NICE TRY, KITTEN."
    "We can't break a Miraculous... not without your Cataclysm!" Ladybug tried attacked Hawkmoth, and grabbing his staff, but he was too quick, and she was unable to grab it. 
    "You won't win." he smirked, summoning more soldiers. Why was he so powerful? Ladybug wrapped her yo-yo around his foot, and he stumbled. Then, we saw Queen Bee swoop over and use her Venom to keep Hawkmoth from moving. She probably saved us from having to fight him anymore. She landed on the roof, and then jumped off, probably to find a safe place to transform. I took the opportunity to knock him on his back, and summon Cataclysm. I tapped on the brooch he donned, and it shattered into the black ash. Ladybug summoned a Lucky Charm, and it was a pair of handcuffs... she looked at me.
   "You know... what these are for, right?" she asked me.
   "Yeah... we have to get him to the Police with them... then from there, you can get those cuffs back to finish what started." she cuffed him, and took the staff from the top of the roof. We hopped down, and the Police had a car ready. They switched the cuffs out, and he slowly transformed back into his civilian form. The miraculous restored itself, but this time, Ladybug had it in her other hand. The moth miraculous was retrieved. And the identity of Hawkmoth was revealed. 
   My face went pale, as the man stood before me.
   "Mr. Agreste, you will be with us for a while." he stepped into the car, but I had to keep my composure... any indication I was hurt would give away who I was.
   "You can't arrest me. I have Emilie, and Adrien... they need me. Don't take me!" Ladybug threw the handcuffs up, and was able to restore whatever chaos the soldiers did. They ended up doing a lot more than just attacking citizens. They knocked over 5 buildings, burned things down, tore the ground from the roots, and luckily, it was all restored... thanks to Ladybug. We noticed Alya and Nino hiding, and Chloe handed Ladybug her box.
   "Thank you." she walked away. I think she saw who was arrested. I was scared to check any of my things. Ladybug collected Alya's and Nino's boxes as well, and we hid, transforming back to our civilian selves. 
   "Oh shoot..." I mumbled, "Oh god, this isn't happening." Marinette turned to me, and hugged me, trying to comfort me. "That was my dad... my dad, Gabriel Agreste, was Paris's biggest threat for the last what, 5 years? He's never going to see another day, ever again."
   "I'm so sorry, Adrien."
   "I'm not." I growled, "He's the reason we fought for so long. The reason so many people got hurt... he had all that hate in his heart... what good did it do him? And why was he going on about my mother? What's going to happen to the house...? THE HOUSE!" my eyes widened. "I have to go back." 
   "You... you're actually going to try?"
   "I don't see why not. It's my house, still. You're coming with me." I took her hand.
   "I am?!" she exclaimed, "Adrien, I don't know..."
   "Please." I looked her in the eyes. "I need someone there, in case I break down." she took a minute to process it, then she slowly nodded.
   "Okay. I will. But, you have to promise me you will be careful, please?"
   "I will, don't worry." Marinette looked around, and called out a name.
   "Nino!" she exclaimed. Nino whipped his head around, and ran towards us.
   "Are you guys okay!? I can't find Alya." Nino hugged us both.
   "We're fine, but we need a ride to my house, quickly." I explained, "I need to grab some things... before they kick everyone out of my house." 
   "I understand. But, I need to find Alya. Will you guys help?"
   "Of course. I'm sure she's just trying to get some coverage for the Ladyblog." Marinette smiled, "Come on, let's find her." After a while of looking, we found Alya by the Eiffel Tower, collecting a couple more interviews from civilians. She couldn't film during the fight since she was a hero herself. Because of that, she had teamed up with the newspaper club at the school to film, and she was going on about how they got a ton of footage on the way back.

MARINETTE:

   Adrien and I were dropped off at the Agreste mansion, then Alya and Nino took their leave. Adrien entered a code to get in through the gate, and it opened for him. We approached the door, and slowly walked in. I could hear talking, but I couldn't hear the words clearly. 
   "Be quiet. I need to know what she's saying." 
   "She?" I asked him.
   "Nathalie." he answered, "My father's assistant."
   "Okay." we slowly walked across the main entrance to the start of what was a grand door. 
   "What else did you hide from me and Adrien?" I heard a man's voice. Upon looking closer, it looked like Adrien's designated driver. "I find out you know that our boss is a super villain, and that you might have another Miraculous that you planned on using?"
   "I shouldn't have told you! Now, Gabriel's arrested, and is never going to surface ever again!" I heard several coughs, before I saw Adrien's face turn red. Miraculous? The only other one missing than the butterfly miraculous was the... peacock miraculous. Adrien barged in, and I walked in after him. 
   "NATHALIE!" Adrien roared.
   "A-Adrien?!" she stood up, "You're home...?" she clenched her fists, "Where did you go, and why didn't you say anything?!"
   "Why were you hiding the fact that my father terrorized Paris for the last 4 years?"
   "It's not what you think..."
   "As the successor of my father's business and this house, I have some decisions to make... especially after his public arrest. Hand over the Miraculous, or risk your job." 
   "Yes... Adrien." Nathalie handed over the peacock miraculous, and gave it to me,
   "Hold this for the time-being. Nathalie can touch, but if she lays a finger on you, I will call the police." I gulped, and slowly nodded. I noticed Nathalie's face went completely pale. She was nervous. "In fact, you've been an accomplice this whole time... haven't you?" he asked her.
   "It was my job to help him."
   "That's a lie." the other man scoffed, "You just kissed his butt cause you like him."
   "Is that the truth?" Adrien asked her.

ADRIEN:

   "Yes." Nathalie answered. This whole time... in my house. The people I had lived with, were conspiring to stop me and Marinette from SAVING Paris. 
   "That's it." I growled, "Nathalie, you are to tell me of all of the secrets in this house immediately. Whether or not you keep your job depends on how much you're willing to share. Marinette, take that pin to a safer place. Any more Miraculous things I need to know of before Marinette takes her leave?"
   "Y-Yes." Nathalie answered. We all walked to the mural of my mother, and she opened the painting up, whch revealed shelves of books, papers, and magazines. She took the original Miraculous book, and handed it back to Marinette, "This is it." 
   "Great. Marinette... do you know where the place is from here?"
   "Yes." she answered, "I do." 
   "I'll meet you back at our place then." Marinette nodded, and walked out. I turned back to Nathalie.
   "Show me everything." It took a long time... but eventually, I was caught up to speed. It went as far as showing me where I could go to my father's lair, or "Hawkmoth's" lair. Gorilla was also caught up to speed, and was just about as clueless as me, which said a lot about him, as well as Nathalie. I had a final choice to make. Turning in Nathalie as an accomplice, or keeping her. But keeping her..."
   "This is last place I have to show you... the one I've been dreading the most."
   "Most?" She opened a door, leading to an elevator. From there, we went down, and opening the door awaited the most horrendous sight. My mother, in a comatose.
   "M-Mom?" I teared up.

   It's been a while, huh? :)

   Well, it's only appropriate I explain why. I've just got a new job! I work at a pizza place... lol. It pays pretty okay for my first job, but I work Monday-Thursday each week, from 4-8, so it's been a lot of work. It's also my Junior year of high school, so I've got loads of homework each and everyday that I've gotta do. I'm kind of sad though, because I can't audition for the musical, and it's Newsies this year :( But yeah, things have been incredibly hard, but whenever I can write, I do, because it's an escape from my crazy life. I unfortunately can't do NaNoWriMo either, but I strongly encourage everyone else to if you can! It's a great way to strengthen your writing skills! This next semester is going to be hard, too. I have multiple trips for choir, two major competitions, and I'm still waiting to see if I made All-State... it's been a blur, but I'm hoping and praying everything goes well. I love you so much, and thank you for your patience. It's so nice knowing so many of you still read my work! :)
